Pepper where are you I'm taking you to dinner
He rolled his eyes. “Right. I’m not allowed to be conventionally sweet. And yes, Mary is standing here patiently waiting to take your order. Which,” Tony turned back to the waitress and gestured to the empty basket between them. “Can you bring us two more baskets of breadsticks please?” Breadsticks were this place’s one redeeming quality.
"Pep, please. You obviously know what you’re doing or you wouldn’t have the job. The school thing is definitely taking away from time you have to do the job. We should talk about that. Later." He poured himself more wine. "We’re at a place with nice tablecloths. What do people usually talk about on dates? Not business."
Pepper smiled at the waitress giving her order of spaghetti and meatballs before turning back to Tony. "You know, I'm honestly not sure. I've never really been on a for real date before. But I would guess something along the lines of how your day went."
"So Tony, how has your day been going?" For some reason she had to stifle a laugh back. She had never really seen them making small talk about the events of their day or anything of that matter. In fact she hadn't really thought that she had a chance with Tony. Especially because, well, he's Tony Stark and everyone knows how he is with girls. And plus he's her boss and not that she cared what people thought but still...
