Naturally a morning person, Tabby was up and reading the news on her phone when she heard knocking at the door, quickly breezing through the rest of the story on her way to the door (and only bumping into one corner on the way there). She knew who it was, but that didn’t stop her from looking through the peephole before actually opening the door. “Baby,” she spoke firmly at the sight of bags of food, getting the word out just before Pepper kissed her. Despite herself, she was beaming at her girlfriend by the time she puled back. “You know you didn’t have to do that. Come on in.”

"I know but I needed coffee and the donuts simply looked too delicious to pass up. You know me and my sweet tooth have no self control." Pepper set the donuts down and took a gulp of the coffee. She winced when it burned her tongue but took another gulp anyways. After picking out donuts for the both of them Pepper handed Tabby her favorite. The apartment felt slightly unfamiliar to Pepper which upset her. It was unsettling to have their lives so separate these days. "I've missed your face so much. Catch me up on what's been going on. You can't leave out any details."

Adam: Good, I would not know what to say at your funeral

Adam: It's okaay.

Adam: Everything is going alright at the club, although I think Emma has been taken advantage of a Pepper less club

Adam: I hope this Jones kid is worth it

Pepper: Wow! I would think there would be plenty of material for you to make a speech just talk about how awesome I am and graze over the not so great parts of me

Pepper: Come on Adam you're supposed to be keeping her in line while I'm gone

Adam: Respond so I know you're alive

Pepper: I'm alive and well

Pepper: Sorry I didn't answer your calls I was busy

When Tabby opened the door Pepper eagerly leaned forward to kiss her. "My love. I brought you food and coffee. Hi!"

Tabby: I'm not totally sure yet. I might just spend some quality time with Netflix.

Tabby: Tomorrow morning sounds perfect, babe.

Tabby: I love you a lot, yknow.

Pepper: What will you be doing tonight?

Tabby: When are you free?

Tabby: I dunno, sounds fake. I'll believe it when I see it, grandma.

Pepper: I have to close the club at 230 in the morning and I don't want you to wait up for me

Pepper: How about tomorrow morning?

Tabby: I'm sorry, baby. You wanna maybe fix that?

Tabby: The good ol days? Did you age thirty years since the last time I saw you?

Pepper: Yes lets fix that as soon as possible

Tabby: Babeeeeee?

Pepper: It feels like forever since we really spent time together

Kevin turned his camera around to show Pepper. “Looks pretty cool to me.”

“Don’t worry about it. Seriously, I didn’t give something expecting anything in return. You’re just a good person and you make my sister happy, so…” Kris shrugged and awkwardly rocked on their heels. They were weary of getting too close to Pepper, still, just out of fear of it not working out with Tabby, but it was impossible to not like Pepper. “How’s the club?”

"Thanks. I try my best. Tabby makes me very happy too so it's easy. Although I have been getting a vibe that she isn't so happy these days." Pepper knew her girlfriend would do anything to avoid worrying her. Often that made it worse.  "It is becoming tiresome trying to run the club with so few employees but hiring more people would cost money I don't have. Especially since I can't let go of the plan to build a studio. I have to save as much as possible. How have you been?”

“Alright… one, two, three.”

bae: Hey wanna come over? :)

me: im playing video games

bae: … I’m home alone… ;)
