Twenty minutes until hand-in, Unit X is almost over...

I am really happy with how the unit has turned out, the final pieces, the opportunities it has given me and from these the opportunities it will present in the future.

Sketchbooks done and stickered. Sketchbook one (1.1/1.2/1.3) has one sticker, sketchbook two (1.4/1.5) has two, and ruining the pattern sketchbook three (1.6) has five stickers. Although it doesn't have three, it having more than two symbolises it is the third one. The stickers on my third sketchbook are from the Northern Quarter - Vans from the Vans shop on Church St, The skull on done by Pete Obsolete from Menikmati in Affleck, and the two circular ones are from the group 'Rep's exhibition at Cord.

So, after the many weeks of Unit X it is almost over. Today is the second and final day of the exhibition, and tomorrow is hand in when it officially finishes.

It has been such a good experience working with my group - as half I hadn't spoken to. I didn't think I would work as well as I did in the group, but I believe that I worked really well.

I got on with all of the members of my group, and have made friendships that will continue into second year. Some I have made outside the group, from socialising and the match we had outside the Whitworth Gallery.

Another link I have made is Pete Obsolete, the subject of my double page spread. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with him, interviews and conversation, and speaking about future work. We have planned a future collaboration.
