Sorry Iâve not been around for ages. I havenât had the motivation to write and work is my main priority right now.
Also, I seem to have lost contact with many of the friends I used to RP with so even if I had a James muse (or any of my other muses) I am not even sure thereâs anyone to write with.

Hiatus
;;I'm sad it's come to this but I really see no way around it. Jake has really been on a hiatus for a while anyway but with my new job I can't see myself being on here until at least the middle of January. I'm doing restaurant work right now and so this is the busiest time of year. I'm exhausted already and December has only just begun. So I really don't think I'll be on here much for the next 6 weeks or so. I'll try and be back for the start of season 4 at the latest. Thank you to those of you who have read this. Thank you to those of you who continue to follow me and Jake, and thank you to those of you who sent me congratulations on my new job - I really appreciate every one of you. See you in the new year and I hope everyone has a good December :) Vicky

Reaching out for Abby, Jake can see that something is very wrong. He doesnât understand what though as he already knows that Clarke is okay. Worry starts to knot his stomach, making his need to care and love Abby even greater.Â
âDo you want to start at the beginning? Or whatever you feel able to say. If you canât talk about it, I understand. I just want to help. Iâm so sorry I wasnât here.â
He knows. He knows it wasnât his fault. KNOWS he was being controlled and had no free will. But feeling like he did⌠Actually WANTING to do all those things. âDoesnât change the fact that I did what I did, Jake.â His face falls, swallowing whatever ball of emotion had made him in his throat.
Youâre not on your own. No. He wasnât. They were all in this TOGETHER. And now, more than ever did Marcus need Jakeâs support. Now, more than ever did Marcus need to feel like he WASNâT alone. ( If he was, if that feeling ever crept up on him, he knows heâd go down a path he doesnât even want to THINK about. ) A small, sad smile is strewn across his lips as he looks Jake in the eyes. âThank you.â His voice is soft. âFor everything.â
That look, that sad smile, is almost enough to break Jakeâs heart. He doesnât want anyone to feel the way that Marcus is obviously feeling right now. Wanting to take away all the pain and memories and knowing he canât is a weight Jake hates to bear but does so because he knows itâs only a fraction of what Abby and Marcus must be feeling. Jake was the lucky one.Â
Without hesitating, Jake envelops Marcus in a hug. Tight and secure - with love and warmth radiating from it. âItâs not going to change how I feel for you. Nothing could. Whatever you need. Just tell me and itâs yours.â
She couldnât do more than stare at him for what seemed eternity. It was her father, appearing entirely alive and healthy. But that couldnât be. He had been executed and her mind was playing tricks on her. âYouâre not real.â
That hadnât been the reaction heâd been expecting. Although he wasnât sure exactly what he had been expecting. A sad expression appeared on his face as he took another step towards her.
âAfraid I am.â He held out a hand. âI know this is strange. I almost didnât believe it myself. But I am here. Alive. Itâs me.â
