I just purchased 75 pounds of clay from the Mercado Art Studio and had the best experience. This place is super special. Dorandy Mercado has dedicated herself to creating a community environment for artists who are seeking that support. After graduating from art school, it has been so difficult to stay motivated and feel supported in making my work. This place was made to motivate people like me to continue making and be involved in a community that supports not only our work, but also our creative needs. 

This facility provides studio rentals and memberships, glass fusing classes, painting classes, pottery classes, and an opportunity to use their ceramic wheels, kilns, glazes, and clays to help artists more feasibly create art at an affordable price. 

Please check this place out, it is definitely worth it!

When I say this list is incredible, I mean it is INCREDIBLE. It is an immense list of artist opportunities that consist of mostly residencies, but also art jobs and exhibition opportunities. It is continuously being updated by the creator, Everest Pipkin, and other contributors (a huge thank you to all of you.)
