same ol' mistakes

❛ calm down cansona . ❜  he says with a chuckle as he hears her talking about the twenty grand that he had spent on her . ❛ in all honestly it was a thing between nate and me . ❜  he confessed and shook his head saluting her like a soldier and waiting for her in the car as she went and got her belongings . ❛ lets get going . ❜  he said as he looked at the bottle in her hand ❛ you do know that they got liquor on the plane right ? ❜  he adds on and begins to drive down the highway heading to the airstrip . the all black jet waiting for them , opening her car door, and seeing the men taking their stuff he opens the passenger door helping her get out ❛ you ready ? ❜

She made a small face of disgust as he tried mansplaining the benefits of riding a plane. Obviously she knew that, her father was literally a pilot. Hayden didn’t even know Penny had gotten her private pilots license at the age of 17. “Yeah, but is it wine made by Penelope Kosmos infused with THC?” She questioned him, unscrewing the bottle with a shrug. Stepping out of the car, she looked at the jet and nodded with satisfaction. “More than ready to get off this shitty island,” she said, walking in front of him. “Goodbye, Icaria!” She exclaimed on the stairs up the jet bringing the wine to her mouth. 

she understood very well why penny was upset, this was noah they were talking about not just some random guy that she had fallen in love with. noah broke her heart into a million pieces, genevieve was there when it happened and she should have known better but she was so tired of being mad and arguing with everyone that she just wanted peace for once. ❛ im not crazy ! for once I don’t want to be upset and pissed at the damn world . ❜ she slams her hand on the table causing it to shake, the roses and sunflowers in her office begin to shed and turn a dark black color ❛ θες να φύγεις;  προχωρήστε δεν σε σταματάω.  Ίσως πρέπει να σταματήσετε να είστε τόσο καταραμένοι εγωιστές και να σκεφτείτε κάποιον άλλο για μια αλλαγή! ❜ 

A small gasp escaped Penny’s lips as she watched the flowers wilt to black. She hated seeing the sight of a dead flower. It affected her more than anything. She shook her head at her sister and rolled her eyes as she yelled. Lifting her arm, she quickly did a motion with her fingers and brought the flowers back to life. “Excuse me?” she said, her voice growing louder. “Το μόνο που κάνω είναι να σκεφτώ όλους τους άλλους! Είσαι αυτός που σαφώς δεν μπορεί να νοιάζεται λιγότερο. I’m your sister. Does that mean nothing to you, Genevieve? You’re a shitty sister!” She spat at her, aggressively grabbing a flower out of its vase. “Stop killing them when you’re angry!” She yelled, shaking the flower at Genevieve and throwing it at her. “Let me know when you want to be my sister again and don’t feel like stabbing me in the back!”

❛  damn you guys do everything together don’t you ? ❜  he says as he gets on the drivers seat turning on the car and driving through icarias street. he was excited to say the least, it had been so long since he had last gone somewhere just to relax and on top of that with someone else. ❛  oh by the way my dogs are coming, I don’t leave without them anywhere . ❜  he shrugs his shoulders and as he parked in front of her house as they passed gen he thought of her twin ❛  by the way can you not tell gen about this, I don’t really need her in my ear about me trying to get in her sisters pants . ❜  he says as he turns off the car and takes his seatbelt off ❛ do you need help or should I just stay here ? ❜

Penny shrugged and nodded as he mentioned his dogs. She was going to continue to go with the flow, which she rarely did due to the control freak in her Then the flow stopped. She raised an eyebrow and tilted her head to the side, “In my pants?” She questioned him, taking her seatbelt off. “You wish. Even $20 thousand can’t tempt me to get in bed with you,” she teased, opening her door and stepping out. She turned around with a devilish and lifted a finger signaling him to wait. She ran up the stairs and retrieved her things along with a bottle of wine in her hand. “Are you ready for the Seychelles?”

❛  well he wanted to talk to me and then he told me I looked like shit and then . I was just having a bad week and my mood just shifted and long story short I’m meeting him for drinks at this new bar GOOD FELLAS . Sofia told me about it so I thought why not . a public setting is better than anything at all . ❜  she knew that she shouldn’t even be meeting noah but she just needed closure and to earn him that he couldn’t tell anyone about her baby’s death. ❛ just wanted you to know before you heard it from someone else . ❜ there wasn’t a lot of secrets between penny and gen besides the obvious ones but she tried to be as honest as she could and this was a definitely on a need to know basis. 

Penny’s face grew more with disgust as her sister kept speaking. She usually wasn’t one for drama– only the drama she caused (which was a lot), but she needed to cause drama for this one. She couldn’t help it. She was a tad bit known for this anyways, might as well embrace it. She popped out of the seat and threw her hands up in the air, “What!?” she yelled out. “Genevieve, είσαι τρελός?!” she continued. “You know what, let me put this in perspective for you, this would be like if I sat down and had a drink with Anya after she told me I looked shitty! You’re sick,” she said and shook her head. “What does he even have to say to you? You know what, I’m actually glad I’m leaving this island for a vacation, clearly, everyone’s effing losing it!”

Ivy playfully pretended to stab her fork towards Penny, warning her to back of the deliciousness that she was currently consuming. “You twins and your weird telepathy thing,” Ivy spoke with a shake of her head. “I don’t know, man. She did seem a little off earlier, but I kind of pegged it on my jetlag. Gen didn’t mention anything to me, though. Have you tried talking to her about it?”

She shrugged and let out a small sigh. “No, things have been kind off with us recently,” she said with a bothered tone. Penny and Genevieve loved each other very much but there was always going to be a competitive dynamic to them. They had had it since they were young girls. Penny found herself emotional about it. “I don’t know, I just want her to be okay,” she admitted. 

Lachlan watched her with a big smile on his face. “Yeah we uh don’t have frozen ones…” He said walking over to the bowl that held the bananas. Lachlan preferred to freeze the fruits as he was putting them into the ice cream. He decided they tasted better that way. Lach grabbed a few of them and made them just cold enough that they should work. “Here you go Pen.” He smiled placing them into a seperate bowl. “Yeah I think that would be fun.” He nodded his head going back to watching her work. 

Penny looked at him and back at the ripe bananas. She looked around at the store and shrugged. “I’m about to do something,” she warned and cocked her head towards the banana. Placing her hand on the banana, it instantly began to let off cold air almost as if it was dipped in liquid nitrogen. She looked up and smiled. “Being a child of Persephone comes with perks like that,” she said, putting a finger up to her lips as a way to make it a secret. Penny wasn’t one to show off her powers but in this case, she needed a frozen banana. 

“Pick some fruits and we can begin on this vegan ice cream,” she ushered him. “And from there, we can figure out what can eventually end up on the Kosmos menu!” 

“Oh honey, this is a match made on Olympus, and if we weren’t related I would snatch you up in a heartbeat, although my thighs wouldn’t be too happy about that,” she joked in between bites. Ivy looked up from her plate at the mention of Penny’s twin, curious as to why the sudden shift in conversation. “Uh, yea, I saw her when I was making my way back into town. Why, what’s up?”

She smiled, continuing to eat off her plate. Ivy held a special spot in Penny’s heart. She had definitely developed from the person Penny had met five years ago and she loved seeing her growth throughout the years. She shrugged, not looking back at her sister. “I don’t know, she’s just seemed off lately and I know it’s about to be Isabella’s one year anniversary but it just... has seemed weird lately. It’s like a twin itch I’m having,” she confessed to the female. 

❛  ouch. animal killer , me ofendes . ❜  he teases her but regardless brushed off the nickname. it wasn’t a shock to him or anyone that he was a red meat fanatic. if he could eat red meat everyday he would but then again there was all that’s cholesterol and he wasn’t trying to die before his thirties. leaving icaria wasn’t probably the safest choices but he wasn’t ever to turn out a trip . meeting her outside he pulls the car keys from his pocket and turns to the blonde ❛ do you need me to swing by your house so you can get clothing or do you want to get something on the island ? ❜  he tells her as he opens the car door for her, waiting for her response. 

Penny giggled, waving goodbye to her employees and kissing the kitchen goodbye. It would be her first vacation in a while. She definitely needed to get away and relax. She nodded, hopping in the passenger side, “Yeah, let’s stop by my place, it’s right next to Gen’s,” she said, looking around the male’s car. She didn’t know what she was getting herself into but she wasn’t completely uncomfortable at the idea. It was a new experience and she had an open mind. 

she watches as penny chugged the water and she felt as if something was up but she didn’t have the time or even the energy to try and pry in her sisters life. ❛  clearly he can’t . ❜  she rolls her eyes and lets the water trickle down her throat and places it down as she placed the top back and left the water on the desk ❛ but I do have to tell you something and would rather you hear it from me .  ❜  she stands up and makes her way around the death in front of penny , her arms crossed her chest ❛ noah came to visit me yesterday . ❜ 

Penny raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms in defense mode. She didn’t know what Genevieve was about to say but she felt like she wouldn’t like it. And she was correct. She rolled her eyes, bringing her hands through her hair and let out a sigh. “Why? What’d that loser have to say?” She said, her tone unimpressed.
