This is your sign to stop for a moment and hug yourself, and remind yourself that your feelings and needs were valid even when somebody else didn't acknowledged them. You did a great job in making it through it all, despite the pain. And you can keep going. It's gonna be better, things will change.

Be intentional. Reach out to people even if they rarely reach out to you. Have food that both fills you up and nurtures you. Make a habit of catching yourself in the act of being overly critical of the things you do or the way you look (and choose to be nicer to yourself). Pick the scary new thing over the safe familiar thing once in while. Life is best lived when it’s lived consciously and with intent.
