Must be Pepper’s birthday and he only remembered like 5 minutes ago during a fight.
I imagine him getting blasted and falling through the ceiling of a mall next to Victoria’s Secret and just going, “oh, well, while I’m here.”
i'm sorry - jeanann verlee
i’m sorry i didn’t tell you. i’m sorry i snuck down the stairs and out to the mouth of a boy who will never know my name. i’m sorry i ruined your carpet with a backdraft of whiskey. i’m sorry i told our secrets. i’m sorry i put them in a book. i’m sorry i didn’t tell you about it. i’m sorry there was a fever. i’m sorry for the mutilation. i’m sorry for the freckles and the switches and the mean boys in grade school. i’m sorry i scratched your neil diamond record. i’m sorry i drew the picture of the dead cat. i’m sorry i titled it after my dead sister. i’m sorry they pulled her from your body like a sad, wet sponge. i’m sorry no one came to the hospital. i’m sorry i felt sorry. i’m sorry about the scars, about the stolen tampons and the nest of mice in the stove. i’m sorry i drank all your rum. i’m sorry about the boy in the basement and the one in the porch, in the back of your car. i’m sorry about the slashed window screens and forearms, the christmas eve i demanded the emergency room, the pennies for gas money, the tutor, the house full of beer wraps. i’m sorry i lied about acid and the boy with knife. i’m sorry for the weasels and the dead grass. i’m sorry i don’t call anymore. i’m sorry i loved you so hard then turned like a coin that has run out of spin. i’m sorry your life looks like this in photo albums. i’m sorry i was part of your stain. i’m sorry it took thirty six years to say this. i’m sorry you hate me. i’m sorry you are too kind to say so. i’m sorry i told them our stories. i’m sorry i am so small. i’m sorry i haven’t thanked you for sacrifice; for stereo and dolls and for english and for correcting my stutter and the big slumber parties with all the gift bags. i’m sorry i vomited in the wash drain. i’m sorry i left. i’m sorry i came back. i’m sorry i stopped calling. i’m sorry you still get so angry. i’m sorry i struck back. i’m sorry the rock opened that boy’s forehead. i’m sorry cursed you. i’m sorry i wouldn’t let you hit me anymore. i’m sorry i started smoking again and again. i’m sorry i lied. i’m sorry i couldn’t tell you. i’m sorry i’m a coward. i’m sorry my skin is starting to yellow, my neck is curving into an ampersand. i’m sorry we can’t talk about it. i’m sorry we can’t talk. i’m sorry the world kicked you so hard. i’m sorry he’s sick, mama, i’m sorry he’s sick. i’m sorry that all i can think about is what to do next. i’m sorry i can’t fix it. i’m sorry we can’t talk. i’m sorry i wrote the poems. i’m sorry. i’m sorry you never wanted me. i’m sorry i can’t fix me. i’m sorry we can’t laugh. i’m sorry i don’t need you like other girls. i’m sorry there is so much decay in these bones. i’m sorry there are no grandchildren. i’m sorry i failed. i’m sorry i am alone. i’m sorry that alone is easier than talking to you. i’m sorry it comes like this, blood and undertoe. i’m sorry i can’t sit comfortably in the same room. i’m sorry i twitch like a startled moth. i’m sorry i don’t visit. i’m sorry i came hard and sharp and full of claws. i’m sorry i ruined your body. i’m sorry i bleed for too long. i’m sorry you are so far. i’m sorry i have no intention of coming to find you. i’m sorry i don’t call.
#elena gilbert #you cutie pie! #i just want you to liberate yourself from the salvabros and their centuries-old pissing match and their demanding draining ‘love’ for you; #break the shackles of needy manipulative abusive codependence they’ve used to truss you up for far too long #(and hopefully clobber them over their heads with them) #i just want your life to be full of joy and laughter and people who love you without overwhelming expectations or emotional blackmail #for you to tend to bonnie’s garden when she no longer can; read to her by her bedside when her eyes are too old and tired #for you to smile and swallow down your tears at jeremy’s wedding; #(all the while pushing down thoughts of forcing a bloody wrist in his mouth to kill him and keep him forever); #instead you’ll watch his children grow up (guard them with your life) and sit at jeremy’s grave scrawling in your notebook #for you and caroline to travel all over europe; hunting and shopping and clubbing; #drunkenly climbing to the tippy-top of the eiffel tower at night; threading fingers through fingers as the world passes you by #katherine will pop by from time to time when she isn’t fucking around with damon and make herself at home in your apartment; #of course she’ll be drinking from a full bottle of wine and glance at your wardrobe appraisingly (‘at least SOME things haven’t changed’) #sometimes you’ll have tea with elijah and just last week you saw rebekah in passing (you smiled; she smirked) #I JUST GET FEELINGS OKAY

ladies who should be playing mythical head bitches in charge | ANTONIA THOMAS as HELEN OF TROY, the spartan queen who defied the kingdom of her father, who eloped with the prince of troy, whose decision leveled a city and launched the greatest war in legend.
She had been the prize of men her whole life, sullied by men, caged by men, given, given, always given. Helen of Sparta was a queen who was beholden to the basest peasantry; Helen of Troy shall be a goddess on earth. Choice, choice, she chants as she boards the ship with the bright eyed youth. Let them come, she thinks, and smiles. Let them come for their queen; let them come for their idol and their star, let them come for the mirage of a woman perfect beyond measure. Let them break their spears on the walls of Troy, let them break their spines beneath Trojan swords. You made me into a goddess, she thinks. And a goddess demands blood.

Downton Abbey and the Irish Question
So I watched the recent DA episode with some rage. Firstly, occupation by a foreign power is an act of aggression, violence, and war and the British are the ones who threw the first volley so to speak.
So I’m writing this post about the burning of big houses during this time period and how they were the following: a method of symbolic protest, a tactical move by an organized army, and a counter-measure to stop the existing British policy of burning down the homes of Irish Republicans, real or just presumed.
None of these reasons were mentioned in the episode to give justification as to why Tom Branson would be involved in the arson of private property. The viewers were left to form their own opinions through the rantings of aristocrats. Fellowes’ bias clearly gives priority to the destruction of the private property of the Anglo-Irish ascendancy that profited off the land of those that they oppressed.
But what about the houses of the farmers and laborers that the British burned, Fellowes? When talking about savagery, why haven’t you indicted the savagery done against the people but only have your mouthpieces indict the savagery done against property?
The logic behind the burnings was clear; the old Ascendancy class were the backbone of the British presence in Ireland, destroying their palatial seats also hurt the British state, by forcing them to allocate troops and police to protect the gentry and also by undermining the deference some still felt for the old landed families.http://www.theirishstory.com/2011/06/21/the-big-house-and-the-irish-revolution/#.UHK2dq5U2Sp

Bollywood Recast | Bride Wars
Ever since they were little girls, Laila (Priyanka Chopra) and Aditi (Kareena Kapoor) have bonded over planning their weddings, down to the very last detail. Now, both in their mid-twenties, they have each found the men they want to spend the rest of their lives with. Unfortunately, a simple clerical error has scheduled both of their weddings on the exact same date. There was a time when Laila and Aditi would have done anything for each other, but now that the two best friends are at odds over who will get their dream wedding and who will have to settle for second best, the gloves are off and it’s all-out war.
I used to think that we were forever ever ever.

BRECKIN MEYER Brittany and I did King of the Hill for eight years together. And we played boyfriend and girlfriend two or three times after Clueless. Brit is… I say “is” because it still feels werid to say “was.” Brit’s unbelievable. I first met her when she was 12, on a Dabney Coleman show called Drexell’s Class. And we would see each other all the time as kids growing up in the Valley. When I saw her at my Clueless audition, I let out a huge sigh of relief, because I already loved Brittany. I didn’t have to act being in love with her. Once you met her, you couldn’t help it. In the movie, in the wedding scene at the end, we’re supposed to have this kiss. And when I go to kiss her, I had to do it on the top of the head because I felt like her big brother.
- Dude, Meera is like Don
- It’s not just difficult to understand her.
- It’s impossible, impossible.
