i wanna get a job at a grocery store soon i think has anyone ever worked at one before?

Ok so then where should I work as my first job

I was a bagger at publix and it wasn’t too bad. No matter what tho, avoid retail

Why?

(sorry to butt in but) customers can be really rude and inconsiderate and they ask really dumb questions but it’s better than fast food so

It’s fine haha and really? I thought it would kinda be like that everywhere though anyways :/

that’s true I work at a TJ Maxx and most of the customers are really pleasant it’s an easy job and it pays well so idk I guess it depends on your personality 

What do you have to do working at a store like that? Like a cashier sounds easy but I heard you have to be 18 where I live to run one? I think 😕

I got the job at 16, and basically all you have to do is be friendly and be able to hold a conversation as you check people out; normally though, stores don’t hire as many teenagers and that’s probably where the 18+ thing came from
