I'm trying to get away from all of my anti-social habits starting with my phone and laptop. I was fine before the internet so it should be ok. I hope I don't need to check my mail more than once a day because that's what I'm doing.

I get worried that the younger generation can't interact normally with people or maintain eye contact for more than a few minutes. Hopefully this will set a good example for my neice and nephew in the future.

ok, day 11 of no tipple. Going grand but haven't had any nights out which makes it easier.

There must be more than one late night cafe in Dublin though. I mean come on! There's only so many lemonades and britvics one can drink.

On other news, still haven't persuaded the boyfriend to play some board games. We'll see...

Random Ponderings

Giving up alcohol for a month to give the body a rest and might even save a both of cash while I'm at it. Also curious if I'll feel any different. Not sure if I miss it or why. The taste? The relaxing? Or just habit? I'll see. Also wondering what to drink in a pub of I go. I know there's lemonade and sometimes juice but there must be more exciting options.
