Terrifying Renegade

❝ Oh, you know how it goes. If anything you could stay on Earth with us for a few days.❞ Especially after the um... ‘incident’ Spinel never got to truly see the Earth in it’s fully glory. Now, field trips and talking were more in Steven’s line of expertise but Pearl? Pearl is not opposed to trying. 

      “ yesss …    a  JOKE .  “    was  there  underlying  resentment  towards  pearl ,    most  definitely .    spinel  couldn’t  help  it  ,    couldn’t  stop  the  unnecessarily  JEALOUS  thoughts  from resurfacing  every  time  she  remembered  whose  pearl  HAD  BEEN .    wasn’t  it  just  swell  to  be  left  behind ,    while  the  other  got  to  gallivant  across  flower fields  with  her  diamond .    so  darn  SWELL .

                  “ were  ya  always  this  uptight ,   can’t  exactly  recall  after  6000  YEARS  of  solitude . ”

❝ Oh you-- ❞ There are a million things that Pearl could have said at this point but instead a million things were discarded all at once. Cut short in torturous opposition I might add. She wanted to say something, she wanted to.. understand.. But instead she tapped her foot three times and crossed arms in dissatisfaction. It was these sorts of attitudes that could utterly shatter one’s temper. Pearl stood strong however.

❝ Oh I see! It’s a joke isn’t it!? ❞ Of course! She should have seen it coming from a mile away! If only it didn’t flew over her head so easily, which might have made the situation less embarrassing. Then again we are speaking to the person that rejuvenated her not too long ago. Despite Pearl’s sympathies.  ❝ Very funny.. Spinel. ❞

❝ --NO SPINEL YOU CAN’T DO THAT! ❞  A dangerous action requires a hasty reaction and luckily Pearl is just in time. Surely Spinel could’ve broken someone’s hand or worse. Oh, how easy it is to forget how rowdy some Gems can get. Peridot used to get a similar reaction out of her.  ❝ Humans aren’t Gems. ❞ She says. ❝ They’re fragile and need to be protected. Here hold on.. I think I got a book on Human Biology you can read.. ❞
