“Is everything ready?” you asked Jimin. He checked through the picnic basket, making sure everything you needed was in there before nodding at you, unable to hold back a smile. You had asked Jimin about it earlier and he had told you it was a surprise. He now reached into the basket to pull the box out, opening it to reveal four macaroons.

“They’re from that bakery you love so much, the one by the house.” You smiled at the sentiment before reaching to take one, but he shook his head, instead grabbing one and holding it out to you. You realized he wanted to feed you and you leaned forward slightly, opening your mouth and taking a bite out of the pink pastry. You hummed in content and he smiled before taking a bite as well. 

About ten minutes, you had taken everything back to the car and were now just walking around the park, hand in hand with Jimin. You made small talk, talking about anything and everything. He pointed at a field up ahead, one that was always filled with dandelions. He excitedly walked up to them, pulling you along. You could only laugh at his almost childish excitement. He picked one, holding it out to you.

“Make a wish,” he said, handing you the dandelion before bending over to pick one for himself. 

“I already have everything I could possibly want though,” you said, teasing him slightly. He pouted and told you that you had to make a wish. You smiled and complied, closing your eyes and blowing at the dandelion. When you opened your eyes, Jimin’s eyes were still closed and he looked so ethereal. “And it’s where I’m gonna ask you to marry me.” His words made you freeze and when you stopped, you pulled him back. You processed his words before stuttering.

“Are, are you going to-” His eyes widened when he realized the implication his words held.

About fifteen minutes later, Namjoon was pulling into the driveway of one of the nicest houses you’ve ever seen. You admired the house before asking who it belonged to.

“It’s Jin’s house. But the rest of the guys are always over because it’s the biggest. So I guess you can say it’s their house too.” You laughed and even felt a bit of excitement over meeting the friends your boyfriend spoke so highly of. You unbuckled your seatbelt and opened the door, stepping out of the car, still admiring the house. You waited for Namjoon to finish getting whatever he needed from the trunk before you both walked up to the door. He was about to knock when the door opened and you were met with a guy who looked younger than Namjoon and you. The first thing you noticed was how big and bright his eyes were and you couldn’t help but smile. He greeted Namjoon with a smile and then he turned to you and his smile only grew.

“You must be Y/N! Namjoon talks about you all the time. I’m Jungkook!” He extended his hand and you took it with a smile. You didn’t feel as nervous anymore. After being let in, Namjoon walked to the backyard where the rest of the guys were, introducing you to them. They each greeted you, already acting as if you were one of them, putting your nerves at ease. Jungkook, Taehyung, and Jimin immediately went into the pool, claiming they had been waiting for you two to arrive before getting in. Jin was busy cooking at the grill and Hoseok was helping. Yoongi was sitting on a lawn chair, watching the younger guys play in the pool while he casually sipped at a glass of wine. 

“Y/N, come get in the pool with us!” Jimin exclaimed, playfully throwing water at the other two boys. You looked at Namjoon and he nodded with a smile. You took off your cover, leaving you in just your swimwear. There was a variety of pool floats and you chose the one that was shaped like a watermelon slice to hang onto as you went in the water. You played in the water with the boys for a bit before turning to Namjoon to invite him in. He was drinking a beer and talking to the others but he turned to you when you called his name. 

“Joon, come get in, please,” you said, faking a pout. He shook his head and put his drink down, walking over to the pool floats and choosing a round donut shaped one. You laughed at his childishness as he got in the water, balancing precariously on the float so he wouldn’t fall into the water. You walked over to him, pulling the float towards the middle of the pool where Jimin and Jungkook were. He was there for a bit, putting his sunglasses on and even closing his eyes. “The food is ready if any of you want to eat already!” Jin shouted. At the mention of food, Jimin and Jungkook ran out of the pool and Taehyung came out of the house holding a camera.

“We should take pictures after we eat!” Hoseok exclaimed and everyone agreed, fixing themselves plates to eat. You all sat around a table eating, the music Jimin had chosen serving as background music as the guys made conversation with you, asking the typical questions of how you and Namjoon had met and such. Despite his teasing, he reached his hands back to pull his shirt off. You couldn’t help but admire him for a second before he cleared his throat. You blinked, realizing he was smiling at you.

“Stop laughing. Come sit down.” He obeyed, sitting on the lid of the toilet. You grabbed an old towel, placing it over his shoulders. You reached for the container of vaseline, popping the lid open before softly telling him to look at you. He tilted his head slightly to look up at you and you smeared a little bit of vaseline along his hairline so his skin wouldn’t stain. You were so focused on not missing a spot that you didn’t realize he had been staring at you until his whisper broke your concentration.

“Xuxi, if we get distracted, I’ll never finish dyeing your hair,” you tried to reason, squeezing some of the developer into the bowl. You didn’t have to look at him to know he was pouting. You added the color and began mixing them with a color brush before turning back to him. Sure enough, there was a pout on his face. 

“Will you let me kiss you after my hair is done?” he asked. You nodded and his pout became a smile. “Can I at least get one real kiss before you start putting the color on?” He looked up at you with his big, beautiful eyes and you couldn’t deny him. You pretended to sigh before leaning down to place your lips on his. This time, he cradled your face, stopping you from pulling away as quickly as you had before. When you did pull away, he mumbled a quick ‘I love you.’ You pecked his lips again and said it back before straightening up and mixing the contents of the bowl again.

About two hours later, you were blow drying your boyfriend’s now blue hair. He bet I wouldn’t do it, so now he owes me money.” You laughed at his excitement, carding your fingers through his hair. He turned to you and asked, “So when are you gonna let me dye your hair?” You grimaced slightly, too attached to your natural hair color to dye it anytime soon. 

“Hmm, I’m gonna have to think about it and I’ll get back to you.” He shrugged in understanding before smiling again. “What?” you asked, almost afraid of what his expression meant.
