Clearly neither of them were the lucky type in life then, but if they were in Wisteria they at least lived a good life. “Trust me, you’re never too old to find where you belong. It happened to me when I was twenty and in college, but I just now feel like I’m really where I’m meant to be and I’m forty.” He laughed a bit as he thought about how he couldn’t actually be of any help. “Well, not much aside from my mother being one, but I’d still try.”

Silas hummed as he heard the other man’s words. Those...were actually nice to hear. All things considered. “Well it’s a good thing you’re in this position now, huh? Some people never get to experiance it.” Silas pointed out with a shrug of his shoulders. “Hm...Someting tells me I’d probably be in more danger with you as my nurse.” Silas joked playfully.

“There’s nothing small about that. Everyone’s got to start somewhere, right?“ The jobs Marcelo worked in high school and then in college were definitely the ones where he got him to where he was now. “I’m sure you’ve picked up some things without knowing.” He laughed softly, wondering if Silas really was clueless about cars. “My apologies, do I need to nurse you back to health?”

Silas chuckled and shook his head. “I’m afraid that some people get lucky and get to start just about wherever they want.” Silas said with a shrug of his shoulders. Silas hummed when the other said that perhaps he picked up some things without knowing. “Well, hopefully they’ll come into fruition when I need them.” he snorted. “Depends. What’s your credentials as a nurse?” He chuckled softly.

Colliding with another person was inevitable, really. Reading the back of a pasta packet whilst walking was not a useful pairing. He stumbled back a little after hitting solid mass, but barely looked phased as he looked up.

“Hm? Yeah, I’m fine.” He smiled, dopey, and held the packet out to the stranger. “Does that say twenty or ten minutes?” He asked, eyes drooping, smile and voice slow. He’d had something, obviously, though what, exactly was only decided by the clear smell coming from him: weed.

Silas couldn’t help but to frown as the scent of the other man hit his nose. Silas took the packet and read it carefully to make sure he knew what the packet was saying. “It says ten minutes.” Silas answered before giving the packet back to the other boy.

“Are you sure that you should be out and about in your current...State?” Silas asked the other man with a raised eyebrow. “Don’t you think it’s a bit dangerous?”

“Apology accepted,” Max replied simply, suggesting he was in no way prepared to take the blame for any of the situation. He sidestepped the kid and began to walk off before his need to be right got the better of him. “Just so we’re clear,” he said as he turned around again to face the younger male. “It was your fault.”

Silas merely let out a sigh and shook his head. “Does it really matter who’s fault it is to you? We’re both okay, not that you seem to mind.” The young man grumbled as he looked at the other. “And I’ll take partial blame. But not full blame.”

You really think I know everyone here, don’t you? But off the top of my head...I’d go with Alexius, Jackson, and Rowan and Jamie are tied for my third spot.

Max had a to-do list the size of his forearm which had him racing around town acting all kinds of crazy. He was looking down at his phone when the sudden collision had him react defensively out of habit, pulling his arm back ready to land a king hit. When he realised it was just a kid, he unclenched his fist and dropped his arm. “I’m fine,” the man spat back at him, his tone venomous as he rolled his shoulders to relax them. “Watch where you’re going next time. I could’ve knocked you out cold.”

Silas flinched slightly at the tone the other used when he told him he was fine, and had a feeling that the other didn’t take to kindly to them colliding. If the fact of the other man was just about to hit him hadn’t have given it away first, that is. “I’m sorry,” Silas said with a small frown on his face. “But you could have also dodged it if you were paying as much attention.” Silas pointed out.

At this rate he wasn’t surprised that Silas got easily distracted. For a small town, Wisteria Court seemed to have a lot going on inside of it. “You have to be careful with that, I hope that you don’t have to handle any heavy machinery while your head goes to the clouds.” He grinned at the end of their introduction, at least they could be on a first name basis now. “It’s nice to meet you.”

“I only work at an autoshop, so nothing to big.” Silas said in a serious tone before letting the joking smile slip onto his plump lips. “I’m the receptionist there. I don’t know jack about cars.” Silas admitted with a chuckle and a shrug of his shoulders. “It’s nice to meet you as well. Other then feeling like I hit a brick house.” Silas joked with a small giggle.

“Oh… so that’s from where I remember you. I never forget a cute face” he said with a wink before nodding. “I must be in luck then…” he said with a grin. One more hour. That was perfect. “Oh… but you are already on your way home, I don’t want to get in the way of your normal routine,” he said, but Silas was already walking towards the building again, so he followed suit, admiring the other’s behind before catching up with him. “Long day, huh? Well, I have to thank you for the help, then. When I pick up my car, I can drive you wherever you need to be. Sounds like a deal?” he asked

The blush didn’t waste any time coming onto Silas’ face as the other taled about never forgetting a cute face. “Shut up...” Silas mumbled with a small smile on his face. “It’s whatever. My family owns it anyways.” Silas said with a shrug of his shoulders. “It’s not that big of a deal. Although I definitely won’t mind the ride home.” Silas accepted. Silas didn’t notice the man’s eyes on his plump rear, the jeans hugging the globes of his ass quite tightly as he walked back. “Besides, I believe in karma.” Silas said with a shrug of his shoulders and and a chuckle.

There was a curt nod as he pressed his lips together. “Like I said, you wouldn’t have knocked me down. Being our height actually has its perks apparently.” His eyes squinted as he looked at Silas, curious as ever. “What has you so distracted? I’ve only been here for a couple of months and don’t come around these parts too often. My name is Marcelo.” 

Silas shook his head and smiled. “I get my head lost in the clouds sometimes.” Silas said with a small laugh. He had been thinking about a new dance routine he would like to do, but there was no way he was saying that. He’d be better off just letting people think that he got lost in the clouds from time to time. “My name is Silas.” Silas said with a small nod in the other man’s direction.

oh, what a trope he was; wearing shades in-doors, using his husbands credit card to purchase heaps of clothing he was unlikely ever to wear, just because he’d worked a few hours the night before to earn them. granted, a good deal of the money attached to the card was, in fact, his; but still, he’d worked long and hard for those clothes. “gaudy-” he huffed as he cycled through display after display of item, hand-picking one or two items to test them against his skin-tone. “there we go.” he chimed, removing a particularly fashionable, multi-toned low-collered shirt that matched his skin-tone perfectly. a few more moments and he his trouser and shirt were off, leaving him only in his underwear.

 n any good comedy, this would be the perfect timing for the door to open and for another to step through the threshold, exposing him in all his glory. and that’s exactly what happened. he turned to face the sudden noise of opening locks and the gust of air of a surprised gasp. he stood, a smile plastered on his features, and raised an eyebrow. 

“is this my color?”

Silas hummed as he looked at the outfit that he was considering purchasing. Silas has always been a rather...Odd individual. Most people took his quietness and smartness to mark him as a nerd, but his clothes tended to not match that portrayal. Silas liked to show off his assets quite a bit. He just wasn’t as loud or over the top.

Heading towards one of the changing rooms, Silas opened the door and was surprised to see that someone else was already in it. “Oh-um...” Heat flooded Silas’ cheeks as he looked at the rather handsome male before regestering his question. “Yes...I do think that color suits you.” Silas said with a nod of his head.

“Oh, no, don’t worry,” Kingsley said, as he put a hand over his pecs, more as a reaction than because he had actually been inconvenienced. “It’s totally okay… hey, you work at the auto shop, right?” he said, recognizing the other’s face after giving him a good look. “I guess that means I am late. Damn. I wanted to pick up my car today but I guess it can wait until tomorrow” he said with a shrug. “Are you okay? You seem… in a rush” he said, giving the other a little, playful smile. 

Silas nodded his head mutely when the other said that he was okay and not to worry. When the other asked if he worked at the auto shop, he once again nodded. “I do. I’m the receptionist there.” Silas admitted before hearing the other man say that he wanted to pick up his car today. “No you’re not. My shift just ended, but they’re still open for another hour. Come on.” Silas offered. “It’s been a long day today.” Silas admitted with a shrug of his shoulders and a smile.

After the initial clashing, Marcelo rose one of his hands in between them to make sure that he knew it was alright. “I didn’t even fall, trust me this wasn’t the most offensive thing you could do to me.” He laughed as he looked over at Silas. “Whatever you’re thinking, it better have been good though. If I was my height and a twink, you might have knocked me out on my ass.” Thankfully he had a bit of meat and muscle on his bones to protect him. Being 5′8″ meant he was shorter than most of the other men roaming around.

Silas couldn’t help but to let out a small chuckle. “It’s a good thing we’re the same height then, huh?” Silas was also someone who was 5′8. “I was a bit...Distracted. My apologies.” A small blush lit up the tan boy’s cheeks as he looked back at the other man. “I don’t believe I’ve seen you around here?”
