You blink, teeth catching at your lower lip as you stare at your boyfriend.
The two of you are sitting side by side under an old oak, its emerald leaves rustling overhead. A handful of sparrows hop through the sunlit grass just beyond your feet, pecking at invisible things.
Why do you say sorry all the time?
"I, uh…"
Levi reaches over, removing a ladybug crawling up your shirt. The touch lingers just enough to make you go still. You look at him—really look—at the quiet way he waits for you to find your words, gray deep-set eyes never leaving you.
"Sorry, is it… annoying?" The apology slips out before you can bite it back. You grimace, heat rising to your neck. "I... I can stop."
Levi just looks at you for a long moment, his expression unreadable.
Then he pinches your cheek gently, calloused thumb smoothing over the spot after. "No."

don’t take this the wrong way but the way you write sanemi makes it more difficult for me to even attempt writing for him 😭 this is meant as a compliment. I feel like your sanemi is so well characterised and accurate I fear butchering him and writing him in a way that’s not fitting for how he should be… that said I love everything you write for him (and for everyone else too)
I think the beauty of fictional characters (and fanfiction in general) is that, at the end of the day, we all interpret the little glimpses of characters that we see! My interpretation is no better or worse than anyone else’s — in fact, your own interpretation makes your work unique! That’s the best part about fanfic and the community in general 🫶🏻🤍
And for what it’s worth — I catch myself messing up my own interpretations of him from time to time while writing. I’ve had several instances of revising and realizing “oh wait he wouldn’t say that” because I was simply too lost in the plot. But that’s okay! So please don’t hesitate to write him, or any character. I’m sure whatever you do, it will be wonderful 🤍

I like to think of Giyuu as the type to quietly break away from the group to give whatever money he has to someone he sees struggling or buy someone a sandwich. Never says much, just holds it out and waits for them to take it, but always makes quietly kind.
