The outcome seemed pretty obvious but it was handled pretty well.
My only nitpick is how Jax centric the finale was but Goose made it clear Jax and Pomni were her favorites and that’s okay. The conclusion for their arcs make sense.
Another nitpick was Kinger eye in first 10 minutes keep appearing and disappearing which was pretty distracting to me. And seemed that issues occurred for theater viewers too. Other than that animation as usual was very good and beautiful
Seeing episode 1 it really wasn’t my taste but as episodes keep going they got better and better. Glitch and Gooseworx really had lighting in bottle with this series. And I’m happy goose felt comfortable for this series to end on their terms. Some unruly fans aside and the discourse around the show for petty reasons. Goose should be really proud with work she created and I hope whenever she’s ready continues making whatever project she wants to share with us. I also hope the voice cast continues finding more VA roles both in indie and mainstream projects.
Overall I give the finale a 8/10 and series as a whole a 9/10

Just rapid fire my thoughts
The human designs is very much what I expected the cast to look like. Shoutout to black gangle being canon. I think Jax human design was literally a spin the wheel cause given his personality any design would match him lol
Also was the show confirming Jax is trans(?) or very least gender fluid? Either way good for him. Now trans or not doesn’t excused how he treated Ribbit, Pomni, literally anyone at the circus. The Jax Stan’s can argue at the wall. He’s still a good complex character but his actions towards others isn’t justified. I can still sympathize with him.
And the show kinda does give him slap on the wrist even after he abstracted 🤷🏽♀️
The longer and Scratch plot kinda got push to the side. I guess it wouldn’t matter given everyone is a confirmed NPC of their human counterparts. So them escaping was never gonna happened since their human forms already did.
Caine redemption although bit rushed it made sense. Him showing the gang their irl selves was a sweet gesture. Rip bubble that lil freak.
So the abstraction forms are basically irreversible huh? A pity but given everyone stuck in there. You could probably headcanon Kinger and Caine figured out a way to re code everyone and bring them back to their regular digital selves.
Ribbet was a cutie and I’m hitting Jax with bricks treating her like that
