I live in fear Of trusting the Wrong person But I am even more Terrified Of not trusting The right one.

This is not rational. It never was. This is my brain fighting Every organ in my body That exists simply To keep me alive. It’s all in my head And none of it Makes sense. It is not rational But that does mean It is not real.

This evening A stranger on the Internet told me That I should Slit my wrists. And since you hid Behind a grey face I will hide Behind these words, And tell you That I was tempted And I was terrified That I would go ahead And do as you said. But I won’t Because I won’t Go back there And I won’t Wear a bracelet Again And I won’t Make my mum find me On the bathroom floor Again And I won’t Throw away everything I’ve been working So hard to reach And everything I am still working for. But know that I was tempted. You could have been The one to kill me.

Please tell me I’m not as forgettable As your silence Is making me feel.

Remember to take care of yourself. Sometimes you get so busy taking care of others that you forget that you are important too.
