Peaceful 🌱 Pinwheels

I've been good at collecting stamps so far for the morning exercises! Got three whole stamps! ✨ Playing so early in the morning also means I try to do a little bug catching...I haven't had much luck with the bee and the giant beetle... UNTIL TODAY! I SOMEHOW CAUGHT BOTH!

I'm still in shock about the bee! I usually fumble so much with it, I was starting to lose hope in ever catching it. However, I've come to realize I'm a bug god, actually!🤓 (Actually, I just watched so many Youtube Videos about them from like, 10 years ago...Thank you guy who recorded his TV screen with his camera!)

There was so many failed attempts...soooo many bee stings. So many. 🐝 No worries forever now! OK, this beetle, the Giant Stag Beetle!

The spawn rate was just a little rare! However, a trick I learned..if you go up then down (or side to side) on the map, the bugs re-spawn pretty fast! It's just a matter of scaring away the other bugs until you get the big ol' beetle. This method reminded me of days on Kappa's island in New Leaf...That was my favorite thing about New Leaf. The beetle hunting! Also, apparently, Giant Stag Beetles? They live a long time! They're popular pets even, wow!✨ Anyway, here's my bug and fish status so far, as I wrap up this entry! Making GREAT progress! 🐞🐟🐝🐠

I really like Gracie, I think they're very interesting! This car washing mini game is one of my favorite events, despite it being...tough! I always missed it in newer games! As well as their appearing in the shop in City Folk. Okay! That was awhile go, time for...current day! (7/25) The morning aerobics have started!🌱

This is another thing I have never quite completed as a kid. I need fourteen stamps, which means I must visit the Wishing Well July 25 to August 31 at 6 AM and do a funny exercise! Well, I don't HAVE to join, I could just collect the stamp and go. However, where's the fun in not participating in this Summer only event? This is another thing I missed from the series. I know it's in New Horizons but...you can just do it whenever....where's the fun in that in that...? Future Animal Crossing games, please go back to your roots a little bit! 🙏 Oh! Just as I was about to go bug hunting for the day...I realized!! I finally got all the fossils!🦴 This is another thing I have never quite completed as a kid. Finally playing during the day!🌱 Which means,it's time to catch as many daytime bugs as I can! I caught a good chunk of the cicadas, if not, all them?? I haven't checked yet but also caught a few other bugs I was missing in my catalog! Productive morning!

I also...tried to catch bees again....no luck... Why must they be so hard to capture? Bug friends? Tell me the secret to catch them? Please?

I haven't had power for nearly all week so, I'm all out of wack. So, here I am again....playing in the evening...missing all the daytime bugs and fish...!! Grr! 🌿🌼🌙🌼🌿

When opened up the game tonight and was shocked...! Maple moved away! She was one of the villagers I was pretty fond of..

First, Ribbot....now...Maple!! Oh well! At least I still have Tutu. I still hope Maple is happy out there...where every she is. I hope you're having a happy life, Maple.🐻 Well, since it was the evening, I decided to tidy up my little village and try to catch one bug I haven't caught that IS always around...BEES!🐝 Spoiler alert. It didn't go well! I just can't seem to get it right, I never could for this game. I'll keep trying my best though!✨ The dialogue for bee stings is always funny at least.

Another worthy update to my little life, I completed another fossil! The middle piece has been escaping me for some time, but here we are! Just a few more pieces missing and the fossil section will be complete! 😊

Blather's dialogue for the evening cicada was interesting! People always say it's a sad song but I always find it peaceful...it makes me sleepy. Well, IRL they usually help me sleep early in the evening anyway along with the frogs. 🐸

Ah, how I adore Summer! I know people don't really care for the season, but I like experiencing it a lot. The warmth of the sun, rustling of the leaves in the treetops in the light breeze, the strange songs bugs sing on the throughout the day in a buzz....it's beautiful to me! 🔆🌻🐞 Also, I managed to sell a lot today, that means I get to pay a little bit of my debt off! Tehe, funny number now!

A little catch-up post on my time with my adventures in Animal Crossing Gamecube! This isn't my first time playing this game, but it has been a hot minute since I last played over the years. I'm currently playing ACNH as well since it launched, but that's for another time! 🌱🌼🌱🌼🌱 Anyway, I started my play-through on 5/11/24! Town's name is Pinwheel, usually I'd name it Pinwheels but character limits! Town's fruit is pears and my town's villagers started off with: Tutu, Billy, Eloise, Emerald, Dizzy and Buzz. (Towns a bit bigger now though. I'm sure you'll see!) I thought Emerald was gonna be my favorite villager but I've grown an attachment to Tutu! Her Gamecube model is so cute and we've become besties in the game, although she did mention she wanted to leave after announcing this too me. Comedy Gold!

Anyway, I somehow convinced her not to move! And we're still pals! She was even the one who delivered me a gift in person on my Birthday (May 18th)! Wow! Donkey Kong!

As for progress, I've made a pretty good dent into collecting all the fish and fossils, but my bug collection could use some work...! 🐟🦴🐛 I'm also trying to collect all the Green-themed furniture as well as the Lovely set! I've been lucky to get so many pieces so early. I've been collecting as many plant items as well, which have been going great! 🌱🌿🌵 And as for my debt, I'm on the last one! The BIG ONE! I'm taking my time with it tbh. I suppose I should also mention I'm not one for Time-Traveling, in any of the Animal Crossing Games. I just don't like! Personally, I feel like it hurts the vibe of the game, but that's me. Anyway, I can't think of anything else of importance for my silly Animal Crossing blog just yet so here's this! I'm obsessed with the frog model in this game.🐸
