          ALTHOUGH SHE TRIED TO MIRROR THE BLONDE’S SMILE, her attempts seemed to be feeble— perhaps, it was exhaustion creeping its way upon her mind, or some pointless worries she never had an explanation for, but her smile comes out duller than she’d intended to. ❛ i’ve known these two for, like, three years now, & they’ve always been this lovesick, ❜ charlene responded with a sigh, giving the said couple a quick look ( which did go unnoticed, seeing as they were too preoccupied to pay attention ) before she turned her head back to her companion. the proposition did sound nice, for multiple reasons. first, it had been a while since she’d gone out for fun; like, truly a while. second, she desperately needed girl time, seeing as all of her girlfriends were either on their vacations or busy with their beaus. & last but not least, a drink after a long day didn’t seem like a bad idea at all. therefore, taking in her arm, the brunette gave her response, ❛ i can never turn down an offer like that. ❜
