      “That’s cool and all -- I guess -- but I actually have to get home.”

            It’s   begrudging  in  tone  and  in  manner;  but  the  inkling   of             lightness  helps  to keep the facade going as  long  as  possible.             It wasn’t like Natalie was interested in the topic of conversation.

         “It’s none of your business. Get off my fucking back.”

   She had seen this dude before. Natalie wasn’t sure where -- or HOW, but he reminded     her  of someone. Perhaps, someone she had never met before. Maybe it was  the  drugs,     plural, talking, because in a right state of mind... Well, as right as things can get    in a fucked up situation like hers, she’d not have recognized him at all. A grain of salt for     a body of water. Be that as it may, the guy was getting really fucking annoying. Which fit     the                                                     bill                                                    p e r f e c t l y.

         “Seriously, dude. I don’t want to talk to you anymore.”

       “--Wow, you’re actually an idiot.”

          “Listen, I don’t know if this is about the woman who was            streaking down the street or whatever, but you’ve gotten            the            W     R     O     N      G             house.”
