A Post About Kenny…aka Mysterion….aka Princess Kenny (and alter-ego post!) Kenny is the type of character that prefers to take action when working towards are goal that he deeply cares about. I wanted to make this post to show some appreciation for the performative nature of his activism (I guess you could call it that). Both Mysterion and Princess Kenny are both alter-egos that involve Kenny playing a specific character: the vigilante hero who has witnessed injustice and corruption and seeks to fix it regardless of who does or doesn’t approve, the individual who has been underestimated and ignores only to discover a hidden power within themselves that they use to change the world- though they appear quite different on the surface, they both reflect a bit about Kenny, himself. As a character who lives in a difficult, often turbulent environment, it’s no wonder that Kenny would connect with characters that seek to transcend these problems by any means necessary, and I think the shows did a good job capturing this part of him.
