"welcome in, come on in. i will admit that service is going to be a bit slow tonight. two of our servers quit two minutes before we opened and I've already got a lot of the food prepped," harry sighed. "i know, not your problem. how many is in your party?"

"oh no you're totally fine please i would never rush any kind of service. i think people need to be more respectful to those who are understaffed or have sadly lost two servers." she gives him a sympathetic smile. "sorry to hear about that though, but just me, myself and i."

Brock was buried in law textbooks . He was close to finishing up his courses and doing the final exam . Ever since then , he had been working on a law firm . He liked it . Of course he did . It was a way to keep on spending time , and to forget everything that had happened . How he hadn’t been enough . “ You know , however put this law book on the top ten most enjoyable reads clearly only read the back . Even I have been studying law for five years and already feel a headache coming . You up for a coffee break ? “ Brock rubbed his temples ( hoping they’d say yes ) .

sarah glanced over at the male and raised her brow at his comment about a law book being at the top ten most enjoyable reads as she chuckled softly, "i'll be honest with you, i do not understand how you can find that enjoyable, but i mean hey it makes sense with you." she adds with a softened expression. "you know what, sure why not, i could go for some coffee."

emily wasn't sure how to feel about this place. sure aria said a had nothing to do with this, but there was still apart of emily that didn't believe that. she had a feeling a somehow brought them here and had them forget their memory. at least to emily that's what it felt like. thankfully she quickly remembered spencer and aria even if it took her awhile to remember them. "i want to believe that, but somehow my mind is telling me differently." she can't help but to look over her shoulder any chance she feels a bit off. "years? like with an s?" she just needed clarification that she heard that correctly.

kie nodded. it will be. she wanted to hope it'll get better within time. even though she may act normal around doppelgangers, she never would stop freaking out. it was like looking into a mirror, but the face looking back at you did not do the same face expressions, nor wore the same clothes ❝ yes, i agree with you. i don't know, we will have to see if you meet someone who looks like me again ❞ she chuckled ❝ if you become best friends with them ― don't forget about me ❞ she teased. who knows if either of them would forget each other one day. if any of them lost their memories. kiara didn't mention it. maybe sarah didn't know about the memory loss that could happen. ❝ yeah, like a zoo. since forever have we known each other? ❞ she laughed ❝ as long as i can remember, but we may not have been best friends for a while until you joined us. i really missed you, i am glad we became friends again ❞ now she couldn't imagine a life without sarah. it was nice to have her and cleo part of the pogues too. the boys could be too much sometimes ❝ right?! i can show you my favorite places. it is much to do around here, you will barely get bored. the museums are my favorite, i will never get tired of them ❞ she said with a smile. could go around there for hours, never get bored. doesn't matter if she see the same things all over again. she still saw them with new eyes, details she had not seen before. it might only be them. she had not seen the others yet either ❝ hmm, i think it might only be us. what i know of. maybe one day we will meet them all again. if not, i hope they are safe back home ❞ she needed to think a little while about it, before she answered that too. might only be them so far. she wished for them to be safe. go on these adventures, but be careful. well, who did she think of. since when had any of them been careful? act before you think. she smiled wide when sarah liked the offer about living together. it was a dream come true ❝ yes! it'll be amazing. without a doubt a dream come true. oh, absolutely, spend all the time you need. i should too, i don't often find the peace to lay in the bathtub ❞ she could before. life lately had been a little too stressing ❝ mhm. i am not quite sure yet. i heard people can lose their memories, how do i not know. it's all people can talk about, or some of them ❞ there she said it. sooner or later they had to talk about it too.

"so far i haven't stumbled upon anybody else aside from you and jj but that's it really. guess i'll have to keep my eyes open when i'm out and about and maybe we'll end up running into someone else from back home." she closed her eyes for a second hoping and praying she wouldn't see her family but she wouldn't mind seeing wheezie again. with everything they had been through back home, sarah isn't quite sure if she wants to see anyone outside the pogues right now. "yeah me too." she spoke softly but only more so meant towards john b, pope, and cleo. "this'll be fun, and if you ever get tired of me just say the word and i can always find a new place to stay." even back home there was a time where she wasn't sure where she could stay. "well if that ever happens to us, i only hope we can find our ways back to each other."

"oh gosh, no, it's not the dollhouse freaky. but this city is a different kind of freaky. i'm talking about more than memory stuff." at least aria knew that they were safe; for the most part anyways. the dollhouse they wouldn't have been safe at all. with what this city threw at them aria was more confident in that they could navigate it all. "this was much easier i agree," she laughed a bit. "hanna is here. she knows who we are thankfully. though i can't say it was always that way."

emily glanced around their surroundings uncertain how she should feel about suddenly being here. one thing she knew was that she was thankful her friends were here with her even if she didn't remember them at first. "guess that makes sense with my memory when i had no idea who you were at first." she sighs softly and runs her fingers through her hair letting out a soft chuckle of relief, "oh that's good, so i was the only one who didn't remember for a second then, so i'm assuming we're stuck here then?"

"damn i don't know what i'd do if i i'd been here for a long time, but i give you props for doing what you're doing and surviving out here." sarah knew she didn't belong here, but she was always up for making new friends. at her question, sarah thought a moment then smiled softly nodding her head, "yeah i guess you can say i'm more beach life. classy is giving more of my past kook life." she probably had no idea what sarah was talking about but describing classy was definitely giving kook. "what about you?"

"i wish had more answers for you, em. but... i don't know how we got here. or what's going on." if aria knew she was confident she could have put an end to it; especially considering how many times they had all taken down 'a'. but no, it as a helpless feeling as she was trying desperately just to get her friends to remember her. "i am glad too. i didn't want to have to start shaking your shoulders and crying," she teased softly.

"well thankfully this isn't the dollhouse otherwise i'd be more freaked out." this was all overwhelming for emily, first she didn't know who her friends were, and now no one knew why they were here. she shook her head to herself and glanced around this unfamiliar place trying to figure out how she got here. if aria didn't know, then that must have meant something happened to their memory. "oh no thank goodness you didn't have to do that." a soft laugh left her lips, "i saw spencer, couldn't remember her for a second either." she laughs again, "is hanna here? i haven't seen her yet."

"i'll be honest with you.." a beat, "me either, but i am glad that i have ran into my best friends so it makes me feel a little better being here." she speaks honestly before chuckling softly nodding her head, "no yeah i understand what you're saying. minus how my life was back home, i am kind of glad to be here rather than back at home." she admitted. "no it's okay you don't have to apologize, you're allowed to feel how you feel about being here. i am not actually, so i'm still adjusting here."

“y'know,  i'm  starting  to  think  that  decent  men  truly  only  exist  in  fiction.”  kendall  mused  with  a  tut.  perhaps  that  was  a  slight  over-exaggeration.  not  all  men  were  horrendous,  she  knew  that.  “alright,  maybe  that's  not  true.”  she  conceded.  “i  should  clarify  that  men  i've  tried  to  date  have  been  nothing  but  a  disappointment.”  perhaps  she  was  also  at  fault  for  allowing  herself  to  get  involved  with  someone  who  was  wrong  for  her.  “not  to  mention…  have  you  tried  a  dating  app  recently?  hell  on  earth.”  she  taunted  with  a  shake  of  her  head.  “where's  mr  darcy  when  you  need  him?”

"no girl, speak your truth, you're not wrong. well okay just kidding." emily let out a soft chuckle before shaking her head, "i will say there may be a good few decent guys out in this world, guess they're just hard to come by, you know?" emily sat back and listened to what she was saying nodding her head. "my ex was always jealous that i'd hang out with my friends and he always got suspicious of me whenever i didn't have sex with him." she replied with a shrug of her shoulders. "i have not been on any dating apps not gonna lie, i'm kind of nervous to try it."

❝ definitely crazy. yeah- when you see face you have known your entire life, you are used to one name for them. seems as it is not just us. there's many people with the same face ❞ she doesn't think she has meet anyone who has the same face as another yet. the day probably would come. although washington dc was a big city, it still was really small. kiara and sarah ran into each other, even if it took a while ❝ i get that. i'm sure you will forget i am not her ❞ kie said with a smile. as she would with everyone else, but it was still there in her head, it is sarah ❝ yes, same here. it might take a while. i am still not used to it. i am sure you will be able to make new friends as well. some people here seem to be more kind than back home ❞ she didn't want to speak ill of sarah's former friends. although kie didn't like them, and everyone knew, she still would not speak too much bad about them. ❝ i know you do. if i'd enough money i would have bought a house and bring in all the animals, live under my roof. that's a dream of mine ❞ she knew it wouldn't happen. didn't have money to buy a house, it would take years. here she doesn't have her parents money, not that they had as much as some people in outer banks. they still had money to live their life and a roof to live under ❝ thank you, sarah. it means a lot ❞ another smile on her lips. she was happy to have her here ❝ i bet that'd be crazy. i haven't seen his face around yet, not him nor a doppelganger. not sure i want to ❞ it would feel more weird seeing john b, pope and jj's doppelgangers. she wouldn't know how to act around them. kiara thought for a moment when sarah said she lived at a hotel ❝ i will show you around everywhere! ❞ her smile widened ❝ why don't you come to live with me? be my roommate? i have a guest room that can be yours. it's a two bedroom apartment, with a kinda big living room and kitchen and the bathroom is big as well with a bubble bathtub ❞ she explained. it would be fun being roommate with her best friend ❝ i wouldn't mind it ❞ she added. nodded at what she said next ❝ yes, i do hope it will stay that way. i have heard many crazy stories about dc, i hope not all of them are true ❞

her expression softens at the mention of kie having a house with a lot of animals living with her. she smiles sweetly, "so basically a smaller version of a zoo?" she questioned but meant in a loving way of course. she knew how passionate kie was about animals and how she would save all if she could. "yeah of course, i've known you how long now? it can't help but find it adorable." she's honest as she shrugs her shoulders nonchalantly. she has yet to also see john b around, but right now she was more focused on finally running into kiara and getting to hang out with her, feel safe with her. "yeah think it'd be weird to see a john b look-a-like but i also haven't seen him around just yet. just you and jj so far." she adds then smiles as she nods her head, "uhm yes please, what better way to get a tour here than from your best friend." she responded before smiling wide at kiara's suggestion about her living with her. it was a way better option than living on her own in a hotel room until she finds some place better. "you know, that actually sounds like a great idea, i would love that actually, living with my best friend, honestly a dream come true. and a bubble bathtub? you'll be finding me there almost every night." a soft sigh now leaves her lips as she glances around the area, "yeah i still have a lot of adjusting to do here. i hope the stories aren't as bad as to what we had to deal with back home."

" You know what , that's usually the good choice . Whatever is safest and best for you . " Allie knew she was an hypocrite , to be saying those words . Allie had never gone for what was safest . She had gone for what had felt right , and that had been a problem for her before . Allie couldn't go through that again . " Oh , I love anything strawberry . I think that I will take one too !" Allie gave a smile at the young woman . " You and me both . Have you been here long ?"

"it's a good go to drink if you're not feeling risky or not really sure what to get." sarah responded with a shrug of her shoulders and a smile. she didn't drink much, but when she did, she only really liked the fruity type of drinks that included the clear liquor. sarah's smile grew wide as she nodded her head, "oh good, then the strawberry daiquiri is the right choice to start with. and if anything we can try something else later to see where the night takes us." she smiles and orders another drink before turning to allie, "not too long, i'm still adjusting to.. everything." she said gesturing around her trying to adjust to a new place. "what about you?"

this was all overwhelming to emily. she had no idea who were best friends were for a hot minute, and even then trying to remember made her more overwhelmed and it didn't help her feel better about not remembering in the first place. shaking her head, the memories were flooding back to her, remembering every single thing to where it was giving her a headache. "i do.. i .. i remember all of it.. a.. the text messages.. why are we here? did a do something to bring us here?" she had so many questions as to where they were and how they got here.

"ermily, it's okay. i promise. i'm just so happy you remember now." the relief that radiated off of aria was palpable. once upon a time she hadn't remembered either, she couldn't judge. her arms wrapped tightly around her best friend, pulling herself close. "i hope you know i've missed you a ton."

"what's happening? what is going on and why are we here?" why did it take her awhile to remember who her friends were? was this a's doing? plotting something so they forget everything about their past? well that couldn't be since it seemed as though both aria and spencer knew who she was, but emily on the other hand, she had no idea who they were, even for a split second. shaking her thoughts and questions, she gave area a soft expression, "i've missed you too, and i'm glad i know who you are."

" A pinã colada ? I don't know , actually . I'm torn , Anything you suggest ?" Allie was all about living in the moment . She knew what she liked , true , but she was also open to trying out new things . That was how she ended up where she did . Still in a problem that she didn't know how to get out of , Allie knew . " Not yet ! It's so nice to meet you , Sarah . I'm Allie . Allie Hayes!" Allie introduced .

making a face at her drink choice, sarah smiled and laugh, "honestly, sounds like the safest route. oh honestly i have no idea either, i just got what sounded safe to me." she offered her drink to her to have a sip if she wanted to try it before she ordered, "it's a strawberry daiquiri " she assured her before waiting to tell the bartender what she would want. "nice to meet you, allie, i think after tonight we're about to become really good friends!"

"I'm glad that you are here, even though it's a weird place to be." Max admitted with a soft smile. "Oh, I'm good. You know me, I usually adapt pretty well and I find people to annoy everywhere I go. It's like a superpower." She chuckled.

"yeah it's a pretty weird place if you ask me." she glances around at where they are trying to take in this new place that wasn't really home to her. "you're glad that i'm here?" she questioned before chuckling softly nodding her head, "you adjust pretty quick, so it's not surprising to me that you're already well adapted here." she knew max and her personality and how she was when it came to meeting new people.
