She knew what she liked , true , but she was also open to trying out new things . That was how she ended up where she did . Still in a problem that she didn't know how to get out of , Allie knew . " Not yet ! It's so nice to meet you , Sarah . I'm Allie . Allie Hayes!" Allie introduced .

making a face at her drink choice, sarah smiled and laugh, "honestly, sounds like the safest route. oh honestly i have no idea either, i just got what sounded safe to me." she offered her drink to her to have a sip if she wanted to try it before she ordered, "it's a strawberry daiquiri " she assured her before waiting to tell the bartender what she would want. "nice to meet you, allie, i think after tonight we're about to become really good friends!"

"I'm glad that you are here, even though it's a weird place to be." Max admitted with a soft smile. "Oh, I'm good. You know me, I usually adapt pretty well and I find people to annoy everywhere I go. It's like a superpower." She chuckled.

"yeah it's a pretty weird place if you ask me." she glances around at where they are trying to take in this new place that wasn't really home to her. "you're glad that i'm here?" she questioned before chuckling softly nodding her head, "you adjust pretty quick, so it's not surprising to me that you're already well adapted here." she knew max and her personality and how she was when it came to meeting new people.

this looks like the perfect place to take a nap.

❝ wait !! ❞ kie laughed as she remembered, moved up her hands to her forehead to move hair from her face ❝ i did meet someone who looked like you, it was insane. so i do understand how you feel. aww, i bet you did. this whole doppelganger thing is crazy ❞ she missed home, when it was only them. kiara shook her head ❝ i understand you, but no need to be. i am sure it happens to all of us, sarah ❞ she didn't want her best friend to feel bad about it, if she did ❝ yea, it isn't a bad idea. people i have met so far here seems to be nice. sure, might be people similar to from home, but not what i've met so far ❞ can she say she liked it better here? yes. but she missed her parents every day, even though they didn't like it that she hung out with john b, jj and pope ❝ thank you, i try to. you know me, i don't like to see animals get hurt, or humans either, to be honest ❞ if she could, she would help the whole world. if she had more money here, she probably would and if it was possible. kie laughed, nodded her head ❝ absolutely ❞ she smiled. pretty certain she can fix it ❝ maybe they do find it cute ❞ she shrugged. john b, she hadn't seen him around, not what she is sure of ❝ i don't think i have seen him. might have seen his face, but don't think it was him. this place messes with ones head. we can go on a city tour now if you want to? i just need to to leave the turtle at home first. wait, do you have somewhere to live? ❞ now she started to worry if sarah had a home yet. she knew some people lived at the hotel or if there was a motel ❝ yes? maybe it is, but i do hope he is more careful this time. don't be so reckless. i love him, he is our best friend, but he have to think more of the consequences of his actions ❞

hearing that kiara had ran into someone that looked like her earned a fit of laughter from sarah. "dude that is honestly so crazy, i don't even know how i'll react when i finally run into someone who looks like me. well i made friends with someone who looks like you which i'm still getting used to and doing my best not to call her kie." her expression softens. it seemed as if this was now her new life, adjusting to people looking like her friends and the possibility of a few people out there looking almost exactly like her. adjusting to her new life here, was something that would probably take her awhile to get used to. she was used to living in the outer banks, her, kie, jj, john b, pope, hell even cleo. it was simple as as much as he could be, but hopefully this new life wouldn't include things that she and her friends dealt with back home. "guess i'll have to keep an open mind to meeting new people even if new people happen to look like those from back home." another laughter leaves her lips. her expression was sweet and soft hearing kiara talk about her not liking animals hurt as she nodded her head in agreement, "oh girl i can't stand it either, it hurts my heart seeing any animal injured or hurt." a shrug of her shoulder, she smiles at her best friend, "well i don't know about everyone else, but i find it adorable." she hesitates a little, "oh god, i don't know what i'll do if i see someone who looks like john b that isn't actually him. uh yes please, any chance i get to hang out and spend with my best friend." at her question, sarah chuckled, "uhm right now i'm trying to find somewhere to live, i've been staying at a hotel for trying to make do with what i have." she smiled nodding her head, "i agree with you on that, i am so glad he's here, alive and breathing."

" Girl , that's a great idea . I think I'm in need of some liquid courage , too !" Allie wanted to get out of her own head . Allie had been staying in her own dorm for too long , just thinking about things and that was enough of it as it was . It was why she had come out tonight . Everyone had been telling her to , and she knew it was time . How long was she going to stay hung up on what happened at home? Alllie knew it was time to let it go. Allie didn't know if she could . " Let's do it ! "

"girl let me buy you a drink then! what'll you have?" she questioned as they made their way back to the bar so she could get her a drink. sarah explored and made some new friends, slowly but surely and she was glad she met someone here otherwise she'd probably dance awkwardly in the corner. was she about to make a new friend? she hoped so, just in case her other friends were busy she had new ones to hang out with, "i'm sarah by the way, not sure i said that yet."

❝ i can show you around, if you want to ❞ marcus suggested ❝ i know the city pretty well by now. i got time ❞ he doesn't have much to do. maybe do his school work, but it can wait. within a few minutes he would have a sketch done ❝ you two together again or? i'm not really following up with max's love life. hell, i have been a shitty brother lately ❞ lately, not exactly. it had been going on for a long time now. he hadn't been there for his sister ❝ yes, ginny is here too, her mom too. maybe one day you will meet them both, it is a big city, but sooner or later you run into people you know. not all people here are bad, i'm sure you will meet some good ones. well, what is new, i go to college now and studying art, missed a few classes. it's good the teacher seems to be understanding, for how long, who knows. do you think of continue to study or find a job? if you haven't already ❞

"oh thank you, marcus but you don't have to do that, i wouldn't want to be a bother." she hadn't really talked to marcus much when she and max were together. "if you're sure, that'd be great actually, i'm still a little lost finding my way around." she added as she glanced around and brushed some of her hair behind her shoulder. "uhm we haven't really talked about it, so i'm not entirely sure but i don't think we are together." they hadn't spoken about their relationship since they broke up, since sophie was the one who had ended things, "but i'm open to talking about it if she is, but i don't want to bombard you with my relationship with your sister." there's a soft chuckle that leaves her lips. "oh that's good, yeah i've seen ginny around but i don't know her mother as well but it would be nice to meet them one of these days." she never really had a conversation with ginny before same with georgia. "hey that's awesome, marcus. i want to do both but maybe right now look for a job since i don't know what i want to do school wise."

"you would think some would have some hospitality, maybe i'm just too expectant of people." there's a soft laugh that leaves her lips as she shakes her head in the process. "oh no yeah of course, i wouldn't expect you to know who they are and help me find them. i'm just hoping while i'm here i will find them along the way." she responds with a shrug and a sweet smile. "may have to check that out and get started somehow."

Frank found himself not being able to sleep once again. While it wasn't a constant, it tended to happen more than he would have liked. He had tried counting sheep, pacing, and about everything else he could think of. Eventually, he gave up and checked the time. Two hours before, he even had to go in for the day. He sighed and realized there was only one thing he could do. Next thing Frank knew, he found himself at his favorite diner. The coffee they had there could fuel him for the day. When he walked in, he saw there was only one seat open at the counter. He approached the person sitting in the seat next to it, "Is anyone sitting there?"

emily couldn't keep still in her apartment. she had just found her best friends after not knowing who they were for a hot second. since she didn't know what to do with her hands, she decided to go out and get herself some coffee. she grabbed a magazine and headed out to the local coffee shop that she had been to a few times since somehow ending up here. she ordered her drink and took a seat and opened her magazine. after awhile, she looked up when someone spoke to her, "oh no, please." she told him gesturing to the empty seat.

Allie had always prided herself on being the life of the party. Allie knew she did get into her own head sometimes, yes, but who said they didn't would have been lying. She had been through a rough patch, but she was back now. She felt more like herself again, and that was exactly why she had decided to go out that evening. As soon as she got to the venue, she dropped off her coat, heading straight away to the dance floor. This song was something else. Halfway through, Allie turned her attention to someone who was nearby. "Hey! What are you doing just standing there? Come on, join me! This song's too good to not dance to it, don't you think?"

after adjusting to a new place, sarah decided to explore town and found herself out at night by herself. she figured why not hang out and have some fun and soon ended up at a venue with everyone dancing around, drinking and having fun. she made her way through the crowed to get herself something to drink to ease herself into opening up. the music was blasting, people were moving to the beat, others were attempting to dance but were still having fun nonetheless. as she got her drink, she took a sip before someone stood in front of her and faced her and asked her about dancing. "liquid courage." she told her holding up her drink before downing it then followed the other to the dance floor. "okay fair."

"You think so? Oh, thank you. I used to do some singing back home, mostly just to help work or life go by a little easier." Maria admitted with a smile. "Of course, at least, I do enjoy singing with people. Got a song you want to sing? "

"yeah, you have an amazing voice, really. oh i guess that helps then having to sing back home." sophie smiled nodding her head. "oh no no, i leave the singing to my ex girlfriend, she has the voice, i'm more of the supporting character off to the side."

it had been quite sometime since sarah actually had the chance to actually go shopping. with her past life, she was off solving mysteries, discovering gold, a random ass cross. it felt as though she didn't get to be a normal human being doing normal human being things. "lead the way, i feel like you know your way around here more than i do, since i'm still figuring out my way." she chuckled softly, excited to have met a new friend. "oh we love a good deal."

❝ yea, don't think too much about it. there will always be rude people everywhere ❞ marcus tried to help people find their way around here. if he knew where the streets were. would it happen he doesn't know, he tell them they can google or ask someone else. trying to help doesn't hurt ❝ ah, i see. maybe you will soon. although the city is pretty big, you still i think run it to someone you know, sooner or later ❞ he didn't know how things were between sophie and max nowadays. he had been too busy dealing with his own things, than to care more about his sister ❝ eh, it's alright. could be better, but glad it isn't worse. not much, mostly been with ginny, met a few new people. nothing much new exciting happening in my life ❞

"yeah seems like the few people that i have ran into want nothing to do with helping me around this place." she let out a soft sigh just trying to adjust to a new place without having to ask for help, but it was always hard to do so when she had no idea where she was going. "i actually did run into her not too long ago and thank god too, i missed her." she paused then shook her head knowing marcus probably didn't want to hear any of this. she nodded her head wanting to turn the conversation to him rather than about her and his sister. "hey that's good right? oh so ginny's here too? haven't seen her yet. yeah i'm the same, meeting knew people making new friends."

"Right? I'm also very happy to finally be off tomorrow as well. So, I get to turn off all the alarms for my day and just sleep in." maria sighed happily. "I would love to get some dinner. my boyfriend's gotta work late tonight, so it would be nice to hang out with a friend."

"hey that's good, gives you a day to rest and relax after working." yeri hadn't had to worry about a job until now, she was looking at places she could work and soon would understand the whole working and getting to have the day off the next day. "perfect! so i'm stealing you away for dinner then, i'll apologize to your boyfriend later."

"Mm, that's good. I'm sure it feels good to have supportive family." Je-Yi responded with a nod. Sure, her family was supportive too, as long as she stayed in med school and got good grades. There was no other options for her. "My family? Oh, I don't really talk to them much. My dad is back in Korea, and my sister... well, she's not around anymore." She shrugged, not wanting to talk about her sister's suicide with someone who was practically a stranger.

there's a slight nod that comes from yeri as she smiles, "mm, it's really nice, but since coming here i haven't had a chance to find time to sit down to call them and check in with them." she shrugs softly, not that she's really itching to talk to her family. her head tilted slightly while jeyi talked about her family, as if yeri had no idea who her family was, but listened instead. "ah, i'm really sorry to hear about that, i hope things are well with your family though."

kie chuckled, nodded ❝ what was her name? right, i have met someone who looks like me, i think we became friends. she was really kind ❞ she moved her hand ❝ i bet there's many with our face around here, which is scary, and at the same time i think it's cool ❞ she didn't think it was creepy anymore. had got used to it. maybe would not think the same if she saw someone with sarah's or her other friends faces ❝ maybe one day you will. it is a smaller city than we think. sooner or later it happens. they might not look exactly like you, can be some differences ❞ she shrugged. kiara smiled at sarah's next words ❝ i thought since i know pretty much about it, i thought i'd try something new. challenge myself, you know? but i do help out at the animal shelters too sometimes ❞ whenever she doesn't work during the nights as a bartender ❝ i'd love to, we need to be sneaky with it. i can say you are family, maybe might work then ❞ she wished she could, maybe it wouldn't work ❝ it's cute to see? i don't find it cute, it's about to save a life, save those who can't run as fast or hide in time. but i get what you mean. you been here a week? ah, that's not long, if you need a guide i can show you around ❞ she drank from the coffee ❝ okay, a crazy thing ― jj is here.. he is alive. i don't know how that's possible. i remember something happened to him. it felt as all of it was a dream. maybe it wasn't i don't know anymore, sarah. ❞

at her question, sarah thought a moment trying to remember her name, "uh i think it was, louella? she's very sweet, think i freaked her out by calling her kie and kiara for a second though." there's a soft fit of laughter leaving her lips as she shakes her head, "god i felt so embarrassed." her expression softened listening to kiara, "okay but wait that's kinda cute though, making friends with someone who looks like you?" she hadn't seen anyone who looked like her yet, but she knows she'll be very surprised and shocked when she does. "i haven't seen any of me yet or anyone who has my face or looks like me, but i will let you know when that happens." she hadn't been there long, but she knew she wasn't leaving anytime soon so it was only a matter of time before she found someone who looks like her. the smile stays on her lips as she nods her head listening to kiara, "you do so much good in this world, kie, helping out at an animal shelter is so you coded." she nudges her softly with her foot. there's a smug look on her lips now with a shrug of her shoulders, "shouldn't be too hard to get family perks then, sis." her smug look soon turns into a smirk. it was adorable though to sarah to see how passionate kie was about saving a life. "if you think about it, some people might find it cute." she shrugs her shoulders. "please you know i trust you more than anyone to show me around a city i have no knowledge about well there's john b but i haven't seen him yet." there's a beat between them before she nods her head, "no i know, i thought i was hallucinating when i saw him, or thought it was someone else who looked like him. maybe this is like.. a redo? he gets another chance at life?"

if she remembered aria, maybe she could remember spencer somehow. the name did sound familiar to her as well. something deep down knew she knew her. there's a soft chuckle that leaves her lips when spencer admitted to trying to pretend they didn't know each other was weird. "i remember aria.." she starts again then closes her eyes trying to find deep down her memories with spencer. "i.. do trust you a lot." she speaks softly opening her eyes this time, "spencer?"
