It’s not easy, Having a heart made of porcelain. Always guarded. Always on the look out. For people with lead mallets, Formed by words and actions. It’s not easy, Being held together by glue and shriveling tape. So many attacks on my humanity, I’ve fallen apart so many times. It’s not easy, Piecing yourself together on the bathroom floor at 2am. So, when the sun rises you can hold others together while they fall apart. Because while you are made of glass, you pretend to be glue. The glue that holds everyone together. It’s not easy, acting so strong when in reality you are in fact so vulnerable.

When hope starts to flirt with you and you don’t know if you should fall for it or not.

The root of suffering is attachment.

Don’t bend; don’t water it down; don’t try to make it logical; don’t edit your own soul according to the fashion. Rather, follow your most intense obsessions mercilessly.
