Making PB and J

So this plush is actually gonna go a little faster then the other ones I’ve been making for a while. I was able to get all the pieces cut out and sewn together in one day! Maybe I’ll be able to stuff and put on the details by the end of the day! That would be pretty cool.

So this progress was actually all done on Saturday. But exhaustion and a busy Sunday led to the progress not getting posted today. Honestly the little details took longer then I thought! Who knew that sewing on paws would take so long huh? I am really loving the way he is turning out! All that’s left is his eyes and off he goes to his family!

So this is gonna be a interesting commission. I have two for one customer going to be sent out at the same time. One is a character from a video game I am not familiar with and the other is a original D&D character. Both are very different in design but that makes them all the more fun to work on. Tomorrow my goal is to make all the clothing and hair pieces for the both of them. Lots of work to do!

Second verse same as the first. No WiFi so this progress picture got delayed. But man oh man look at all these parts! So many new shapes and forms to work with. All with their own unique details that will need their own steps for assembly. In short it’s a lot of work but I am up to the task. Tomorrow’s goal is to get all these pieces sewn together! Wish me luck

So is been a bit since the last time I worked on this one. I’ll be honest I am a little disappointed by my slowness. But! I will not stop until the work is done! And here is the results of my determination. All the pieces finally sewn together. Now all I have to do is assemble and put on all the fun details. I am very excited to get the life in these.

Another day of working hard yields awesome results. I am so excited to do my favorite part of making these plushies. Getting to put on the details! That is my goal for today, is to put on all the fun details and really make these into the characters they are supposed to be.

Man it has been so long since I had a commission and it’s been such fun to work on one again! This one is a lovely little OC named IRL. So today was just tracing and cutting out the fabric. There are very few pieces that I didn’t cut out which were the detail parts. I want to save those for when the plush is near completion.

So this one is actually a day late which I apologize for. My WiFi went out last night right before I finished and didn’t come back until this evening. So I am still calling this the day two work since this is it. Usually on day 2 I have everything sew together and stuffed. But I want to take my time with this one. Plus with two other commissions I get tired out by the end of the day. Tomorrow’s goal is to get everything connected and stuffed. After that it’ll just be little details and then shipping off!

Alright so a mistake was made. I sent off the finished plush before I took a picture of him for my shop! I didn’t realize it until I had already put him into the box and he was already at the post office. Just imagine his little face with a mouth cover with a cat face on it and two green eyes! Sorry about that!

Whew boy! He’s getting there guys, gals, and nb pals. Looking pretty good if I say so myself. The last thing that needs to be done is the finer details. Which once all of those are done he’ll be on his way to his eager owner! Another little bit of joy for the world. Or at least for one person.
