after all this time, i'm still alterhuman, but in a much different way.

when i started this blog i was in a really bad spot mentally, leading me to fall into some nasty delusions and just overall not REALLY being in the right position to make any definitive assertions about my identity: i was isolated, discriminated for my transness and yadda yadda all that stuff that absolutely leads you to feel extremely alienated from humanity as a whole... but now i am in a much healthier spot, being surrounded by friends and having a partner that supports me and my creaturely behaviours, and am able to more rationally think about my otherkinity. so, of course, kintype change!

i do not really identify with the whole monster-like creature deal anymore, mostly because it was lead on by phantom sensations that were most likely misinterpreted or exaggerated by me during my episodes...

i now identify more closely with the "otherhearted" identity! i still recognise myself as "human" and whatnot, but i still feel a strong connection to animality and alterhumanity as a whole. currently, i would say i am dog otherhearted - don't really know if a breed in particular, i just identify as a dogboy dogcreature dogthing whatever!! :3 my partner loves me the way i am and lets me express my dogness by wearing collars, ears, tail, and doing fun dog stuff like barking and playing!!

i feel really happy in the spot i am in currently, as this identity feels much more positive of an influence in my life than before. alterhumanity can be hard, species dysphoria can be devastating, and the suffering i felt before was real and tangible but it was also amplified ten fold by just being in a miserable spot in general.

i don't know if i'll post again at the same frequency due to being busy with uni and other personal matters, but i still felt it was worthwhile to bring on an update to this small internet community. woof woof!!!
