*pops into existence* hi

i imagine some people would think hayashi is like a red mist impostor at worst and something like her reincarnation or child at best and she gets tired of every red mist comparison, the only thing in common with her and the legendary red mist is red hair and a lot of strength (she still gets comparisons even after pointing out the many differences)

so you know how ouno worked at a circus originally? yeah she still does it's just the circus she works at now is the only one around (8 o clock circus mentioned!!!!) hopefully emma and noah are there, i think they wouldn't yknow, mutilate her to be more happy like how oswald did to them

i think many people would be wary of denden bc how is someone in The City so positive? people think she's secretly some super powerful crazy maniac when no she is genuinely like that!! i like to imagine denden is like someone who is kinda strong though, she probably needs some strength for her big ice sculptures, i also feel like she would work for the devyat association, she's fine with the cold and she helps people!!!

actually here are some of my thoughts on who i think would work in an association, office, or secret third option (syndicate) (excluding eight and maybe hana bc idk what they do specifically):

isono: an office that works like the gaze office, collecting information for clients, i don't think it would be info that's from wings or singularities but more like personal relationships information. is a pioneer for a new office work style that is for remote work. she does still stream on the side because she genuinely does enjoy it but also because she gets some extra cash.

harada: an office that specializes in animals. i dont really know how common animal care is in the city but i think that mistreatment of animals does and will exist in the city so harada specializes in either caring for mistreated animals or stopping any further animal abuse. i think he used to be apart of a syndicate but dropped them because 1 he didn't want to be apart of that overly violent lifestyle, and 2 they were about to become a subsidiary for a finger and that was when he self reflected if he actually wanted this.

chiba: cinq, i think with her being so small, she's a harder target and i would imagine a more fight oriented airi is VERY fast. gets underestimated a lot because most of her targets assume she's playing dress up or "hey is that the kid from that sitcom? what is she going to do, mince me?" and then mince them she does. and she gets to have actual meals now!!! hooray!!!!

kamimura: an office, one that specializes in cleaning, and boy can he clean!! gets some jobs in nests because they have no sweepers, but most requests are for cleaning bodies in residential areas. i think he does know how to fight but for self defense purposes because no way in hell is he going out of his way to fight people. gets hired by hayashi if she inflicted a lot of wounds and in a hurry.

hayashi: syndicate, but one of the more heroic ones. doesn't work in an office because that slows her down and there are a ton of people that need to be taken down. she does have a fixer license just in case she needs to do fixer work. hires kamimura occasionally if she does a mess. is probably on a lot of other syndicates hit list but doesn't particularly care, 8 times out of ten she can overpower them single handedly.

wada: dieci, was taken in by one of their orphanages when she was taken away from her family. as a result she is smarter, taken care of, and has found herself!!! wee hee!! she still does learn voice impersonation and is VERY good at it. some of the other dieci member try to encourage her to capitalize on that and get more clients with it but the most she does is dabble into the voice acting industry to the disappointment of most of her fellow fixers.

sasaki: seven, she's very well organized and likes to have access to information and boy does the seven association have information!! i think sasaki can be a very good detective and deal with the post-contract stuff very well. not to mention the seven association doesnt rush into battle and i think she can benefit from that. also she can relax in the cafes as a treat

ojima: he USED TO work at an office his family owns but after the whole... thing, he now works at a different office! maybe the same one as hiroaki and points out how contradictory (?) hiroaki's whole thing with being a tailor and having hemophobia. he will admit the office's uniforms are pretty damn good looking. hates the ring btw that's why he's not in there. maybe he hangs up his work in the office and gives an even better impression of the office.

okazaki: syndicate. i dont think she would be part of any of the fingers, but she does admires the ring (see: chapter 3) i think she would be in a syndicate that's more like the musicians of breman, she does fit the animal mask motif. maybe her syndicate can be something like having a nice villain outfit and a nice mask to go with it, probably makes or joins the syndicate to rival tsuno (she doesn't know that the syndicate or okazaki is her "rival" she just sees them as troublemakers)

hama: dieci, stick the catholic boy with the catholic branch, in all seriousness the dieci association is right up his alley, big library, big knowledge, and caring for children. i see him being a fist and using his demon arm with the explanation that it's stronger (what would his demon arm be like in the city?? many augments?? experimented on?? or many j corp tattoo thingys???? idk)

tsuno: i actually think she would be an independent fixer. she patrols around her neighborhood a lot and everyone knows her name. sometimes she does small things like helping someone move something heavy, taking care of the elderly and children. other times she stopping crimes like break ins, thievery, and whatever that masked syndicate decides to do that day. she sometimes organizes get-togethers for the whole neighborhood to attend that everyone can easily join in on. everyone knows tsuno manami because of how sweet and caring she is to everyone!!!

hiroaki: works at an office as a tailor. he made the designs for his office's uniform and very much basks in the praise for both the durability and looks. the outfits boosted the popularity for his office because it gave the impression that they knew what they were doing and had enough money to hire both a fashion designer and a tailor (he is smug as HELL about the praise). somehow knows the best places for "materials" even with his hemophobia. i think he suppresses his fear of the grossness of it all until he's alone. has mastered the art of running-the-fuck-away/evading cus no way in HELL is this guy fighting.

tamba: i was stumped with her but maybe devyat association? she can handle the pressure of going fast i think. she can act like sinclair's devyat association id with the whole "eek sorry delivery!!!" type of deal. if sinclair can handle that big ass thing then i shall believe tamba can as well. also i think it would be funny if she parkours her way to her destinations.

hasegawa: dieci, this boy is full of knowledge!! i think it's easy for him to regain any knowledge he lost and more, he's on the road to becoming a saint with all of that brain power but he doesn't think he deserves such a high ranking title. i see him being a key, and also loving the library, my boy is in his element!!!

watari: liu, quite an obvious pick but for a good reason: the liu association is more sociable with eachother and value collaboration and coordinating with eachother, something watari is very good at, and i think she can thrive in all out war type of battles. also fire.
