𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄.

a very quick overview of kaeya's star rail verse, because i am still sketching out his appearance(s):

but it is a continuation of his genshin verse. teyvat is one of the many worlds along the star rail which has been infected by a stellaron. the stellaron of teyvat was named "the heart of the abyss" causing widespread disaster since descending upon teyvat and contaminating it with forbidden knowledge, disrupting the rule of the dragon lords.

at one point after the cataclysm, which brought the stellaron to the surface of teyvat, manifested as the purple crystal which was absorbed into the body of none other chlothar alberich. the stellaron was then passed down through the alberich bloodline, which bred over and over again with abyssal creatures in order to acclimate the host to its destructive properties, until kaeya was born.

kaeya has actually been wandering star trails for centuries by the time he's found in a star rail verse, with vague memories of some disaster that happened over millennia ago, but no means in which to connect these visions together. so he's out and about wandering while trying not to give into the destructive urges that come with housing a fractured stellaron within his body.

kaeya as a cavalry captain and knight has most definitely dabbled in different forms of weaponry before ! he’s versatile and adaptable by nature. and so i offer the following scenarios :

kaeya practicing form and working around his depth perception issue with amber doing archery practice. i love starter team supremacy.

claymore sparring and cryo training with eula ! he tends to favour speed over power which is why he opted for sword first, but practice is always good !

polearm training with rosaria ! they’re implied to be good friends, so i can imagine their sparring sessions are fun and filled with scathing quips. we love that energy. also knives ??? we love to see it.

catalyst practice with lisa !! this is most definitely where he learns the most finesse over his vision, since kaeya’s had the least practice with catalyst due to unlocking his vision in his late teens.

and of course, kaeya most likely spars with jean on the regular. they know their fighting styles intimately because they both grew up together as squires !!

TUTORIAL: using discord webhooks to get tumblr notifications in discord

i’ve been using discord webhooks to get notifications in a channel of a personal server when i receive a new reply, asks, or a mention on any of my rp or personal accounts. you are also able to read the received asks & replies you get right in the discord channel.

since i have a fair number of separate tumblr accounts, it’s been a great feature to avoid having multiple windows or tumblr sessions open at once while still being aware of when i receive a new reply, ask, or follower.
