Throughout season 1, they hinted Charlie’s demon form (episode 1, episode 4, and episode 6). Episode 8, when Charlie does her complete demon form I really thought it would be this big, grand spectacle anime feral form where she’s pissed then go wild on Adam.

Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t expect her to win and overpower Adam in one shot but I thought Charlie would go completely crazy. I shouldn’t have high expectations regarding her demon form. The personality and especially design wise was so disappointing.

The idea I got from Charlie’s demon form was that she was holding back her true emotions, power, and rage. As one sided (and disappointing I won’t lie, Charlie sadly did not eat) as Adam and Charlie’s fight was, the biggest “L” Charlie takes is Daddy Lucifer overshadowing her ass and proceeds to steal the scene.

Ever since episode 8 aired, it got me thinking back to episode 4 when Charlie was about to fight Valentino. If Angel Dust didn’t stop her, would Charlie win? Fan artists like to depict Charlie would be able to snap Valentino off like a twig (as satisfying as that is) but I’m not confident Charlie would win against Valentino 💀.

Charlie turning into a dragon would be so cool though. Lucifer’s demon form was literally wings with eyes, extended horns, extended snake with his hat, and shoulder pads…

She is the school's biggest feminist. (Literally once had a massive fight with some of conservative dudes at school)

I headcanon there's a photography club at the high-school soooo... She's the president of the club.

Her band (Bloody Morals), once had an under the bridge concert (Like Moe's but successful)

Half of her closet is full of clothes she made herself like DIY (The other half is Hot Topic or any thrift shop outfits)

The way her and Isaiah met was when they had to be in a group project for a creative writing class ^^ (Sage was first concerned about Isaiah with his odd and creepy suggestions but also thought it was hardcore too)

Her hair was meant to be straight as a pencil but she sometimes tries curling it which makes it look kinda funky XD.

Tons of weird reactionaries on the "pro" side who use people's aversion to loli/shotacon as "the woke West hating on based Japan" as if not wanting to see sexualised fictional children makes you some "triggered sjw".

On the other, you have genuine moral puritans on the "anti" side who jump to ANOTHER slippery slope and use the prevalence of toxic yaoi/yuri to refer to LGBT folks as "degenerates" or "groomers" just because of media romanticising same-gender couples in toxic/wide age gap relationships.

The Boyfriends/refrainbow hate train also gave transphobes the opportunity to invalidate the author's identity as a trans man by claiming that he is a "girl fetishising mlm relationships". Which is why this whole discourse surrounding fiction feels less like a discussion on how problematic elements should be handled in media and more one side trying to claim a superficial sense of "superiority" over the other side.

Neither end up solving any problem and the people who are affected by real world abuse/grooming do not receive any help by people who'd rather win an online debate.

TL;DR the discourse has opened the gates for bad faith arguments while accomplishing next to nothing to help victims in this back and forth bullshit

Mf believes that teenagers should read sexualized abuse because it "helps them" and when I told them "actually no, that's what traumatized me and many other people" they told me that "you had issues before, that wasn't the text (abuse smut) fault" like ??? You don't think that reading rape and incest prn at age 10 could've ever traumatized someone??? Genuine insanity.

Also I know it's petty to complain about downvotes but still- can we just agree that teenagers shouldn't read stuff romanticizing or sexualizing abuse?? It was pretty damn blatent that they were defending teenagers reading graphic +18 material.

I have learned about abuse through powerful plays about it not reading abuse smut. Young people should be learning about this but not reading something that romanticises it and not educate why it's bad.

I know about abuse through showing the side effects and everyday life, not smut. Young people who read problematic things aren't kinder. They turn into those proship harass accounts.

I was traumatised from reading about abuse and my actual abuse and I became educated in media that portrayed it with something I could heal from.
