Good morning

He was magnificent, and there’s no doubt in saying he fascinated me, but it was in a way where I’d rather stare at him than any brightly lit, night sky. It was in a way where I’d rather read him than any self-provoking book. He was someone who I would spend my life figuring out if it meant I got to be in his presence at all, and that’d be the best part; being there for him, even if I was struggling.

It’s been months or years since the day you left me feel unwanted. I keep on telling myself to give up. let go, move on, and not to wait for you to come back. But everyday that passes, I am waiting, I am still waiting for all the broken promises to become real. I am waiting everyday for those good morning texts you will never send. I am waiting for the mornings when I will wake up and watch you sleep, and the ones that you will wake up. I am waiting for the hugs and kisses you never made me feel. I am waiting for the right time when I will let myself be yours, and yours be mine. I am waiting for the possibility that you’ll come back and the dreams i woke up to will be real, I will believe to that. I am willing to wait until I am tired, until I can’t take it no more. But whenever is that, whatever happens, even pain succeeds, I will wait - I will still wait for you because that’s how much I love you.

I’m over it, I swear. But sometimes I still see your face in a crowded room or find myself looking for you in strangers, sometimes I still feel your hands on my skin and I smell your perfume on my sheets. Sometimes, even though I’m over it, it still hurts.

Na baka kaya tayo iniiwan ng mga taong mahal natin, kasi baka meron bagong darating na mas okay, na mas mamahalin tayo. Ung taong di tayo sasaktan at papaasahin, ung taong magtatama ng lahat ng mali sa buhay mo.
