He has always hopelessly in love with her. She shines brighter than the "patent leather on his new 11s.” All this poor soul longed for was to hold her tight, when he saw her it was love at first sight. He wants to tell the truth to her, exposing all his demons to her. This feeling moves him, his heart skips a beat at the thought of having her near. This keeps him dreaming, gives him reason to fight for her.  Yet, where he comes from doesn't allow it, he can’t trust anyone, he has to be tough. He’s stuck in a world he isn’t meant for. All he wants is to escape, but he’s handcuffed by the harsh grip society. There's a path a good and a bad, no in between, no best of both worlds. You either give your heart to Jesus, or sell your soul to the devil. These days it hard to know what’s right from what’s wrong. It’s hard to tell who’s an angel or a devil. “The devil was once an angel,” so how can you know which path to take? Especially, when the risk loosing yourself in the process. But, he knows who he is, he knows he wasn’t meant for that lifestyle. He must let go of the false imagine he made up, just to fit in with false gods, just to be accepted by society, just so he wouldn’t be judged by the  not reaching the superficial regiments. He fears that if he opens up to her, his past, his crimes, would come back to haunt him.  It would take more then some years to get over all his fears. Preventing him from letting go of the pain and shedding tears. But, if he doesn’t let go of the past, how can he move on to his future? Yet, she has known this whole time who he truly is, for “she knows him better than he knows himself.”
