Some friends and I went out on a Saturday for some fun taking photos. After walking around Fort Monroe for a long while, we went for a bite to eat, and then went back to the harbor near aft. Monroe. The sun had gone behind the clouds but peeled out for about two minutes and I was lucky enough to get this shot. All rights reserved. Went to the Boardwalk early this morning. Should have gone before sunrise, when I first woke up. Even with the hustle and bustle, the beach is still good for the soul. I love the water, smell, and wave action. Patti and Coastal Footprints Photography.

We put a pool in our backyard 6 years ago. We moved this tree so it wouldn’t die. This is the first year that ALL the buds bloomed into these beautiful leaves, and I didn’t have to cut off major branches or large pieces of a branch. There’s plenty of weeds beneath it, but I hesitate to get at its base and dig those out. Some I can pull, but some need to be dug out. Next year for digging.

Rain Drops. Yes, it’s another one of those days. Even though I have some errands to do, I am staying in today. What’s that Scarlet always said, “Tomorrow is another day.” Yeah, I’ll be Scarlet today. See this and my other art pieces at coastalfootprintsphotographt.com

Exhibiting this photo at The Artists Gallery for next month’s theme: Local Treasures. One can find some really wonderful food at Rudee’s. I hadn’t been out with my camera for awhile and it felt really good to be wandering about and just shooting things that looked interesting and appealing to me. Need to do that more often.

So proud of these two grandchildren of ours, Laurel Ann graduating from high school and Anthony marching after Great Lakes boot camp graduation on May 25. He graduates next Friday, June 1 from boot camp. 💕💕💕
