Tristan is roaming the streets doing a little recon as he keeps his head down. “I thought I said I could handle this on my own… I don’t need a chaperone….” he says when he stops and turns in an ally to confront the tail that’s been following him.

"I don't want to be here. I got orders."

Betty wraps her arms around Pat, hugging him back tightly. “Hi.”

He keeps his arms wrapped around her. "How've you been?"

Betty shoves her hands in the pockets of her hoodie, pulling it closer to herself as she exits the building carefully. She looks a bit of a mess with her hair sloppily pulled up and her eyes have some makeup smears from all the crying she had been doing previously. She looks around, waiting for Pat to show himself.

When he sees Betty, he speeds up his pace. He whistles, grabbing her attention before dropping his weapon and filling the space between them and pulling her into a hug. "Hey."

"I-I can protect her. You’re wrong. I can do a lot." he said sadly.

"Really? Like just then?"

"What a warm welcome." Noel grins before leaning closer to Pat. "I still never got that name of yours, though."

"Patrick."

He frowns a bit. “I’m really off with dream transport today.” He shrugs. “I guess it’s good that I get to talk to you. Did you volunteer?”

"Did you?"

Chase rushes into a dream. “Milo? Rhys?”

"Sorry to disappoint."

"Nah, I’m actually pretty comfortable being clever right here."

"I'm sure you can find someone more worthy of your annoyance."

His smile grows, “Are you sure?”

"Yes. If you could go try to be clever somewhere else, I'd appreciate it."

[bites her lip] I don’t think you wanna go in. I’ll be quick and then we can go explore alright?

He nods. "Sure. I'll wait inside." She walks her into the building but stays behind in the waiting room.

He lets go of him. “No. Just tell me where she is.”

"Why're you here? Why're you here when you know you can't do shit to protect Lennon and you can't do anything for us?"

Pat gives him a flat look. "No."
