Pat's Place

Oh! I remember the days when we used to worship at Trinity Presbyterian in Tustin.  The Reverend, George Munzing, or the good Reverend, Bob something, would lead us in worship at Christmas time.  We'd pray to, and rejoice at, the Snowflake, the Reindeer, the Snowman, etc.,etc.  Aah, these wonderful memories!  I was particularly comforted when praying to the Holy Reindeer.  When it snorted in approval at my offerings?  Heart warming!  And Reverend George used to tell us, "Some day, in the distant future, we will all be able to worship at a national coffee chain.  We will all be able to hold these Holy images in our own hands as we suck down the warm brown beverage of our choice.  We will pray to the Holy images as we hold them close to our hearts. We will bask in the warmth of the Snowman. We will shine in the light of the Reindeer.  We will be enveloped by the Snowflake and be healed by it's Love. Uh, I mean His Love!"
