I don't believe in slurs. You can use any word contextually as a slur / with the intent of a slur. The way taboo language evolves and changes and simply replaces and then redevelops the same slurs over and over again - it's all a pointless game that you don't have to play.
If I was speaking one on one and someone asked me not to use it, I wouldn't in order to be sensitive to someone's stated preferences. I don't personally use slurs that aren't reclaimed ones but I do actually extend this to all slurs, including ones not being reclaimed.
In general, I hate language discourse, language policing, and intolerance based solely on language choice. Slurs are one example of that.
