If I was speaking one on one and someone asked me not to use it, I wouldn't in order to be sensitive to someone's stated preferences. I don't personally use slurs that aren't reclaimed ones but I do actually extend this to all slurs, including ones not being reclaimed.

In general, I hate language discourse, language policing, and intolerance based solely on language choice. Slurs are one example of that.

Does anyone else have this pattern of splitting?

We split entire franchise worlds (trans media, like being trans the ecco the dolphin games) as subsystems. So when that subsystem fronts, we switch between different characters or even abstract elements of the franchise (like a specific level or level password or cutscene or item), and they have an inner world existence separate from the front that updates over time. They also have a world history that is distinct and not confused with the body's narrative memory. They're pretty vast feeling subsystems.

Our system splits new members all the time. Hosts on a monthly basis, other types probably weekly. Does anyone else feel like their transidentity has multiple components? I am trans video game, but within my game I can be trans specific characters or species inside of it, or specific levels or sprites or npcs, or the 90s pixel art aesthetic, and it shifts frequently.
