Not particularly, I'm starving. [The Rabbit grumbled and because of his hunger he managed to show a little more emotion than normal.] Don't hurt yourself. 

“I’m starving you-" His eyes grew wide and his his pupils, bright red, screamed on their own. Rabbit was so hungry… starving. It was gnawing at his existence. 

I’m starving I can’t afford to lose any energy. I can’t go running around like you can…I was being sarcastic… I know my monotone speech makes that difficult. [His ear flicked.]

"Oi, sarcasm now?  Didn’t know you had the wit in ya for that sorta thing."  He winked, leaning in to give the Rabbit a good sniff.  "Whoo-ee!  Ya certainly smell dim as pile o’ crap."

You should take care of that tail... those are hard to come by.
