I will not spontaneously forget every note of the piece

I will not forget the little speech before the piece

people will not judge me or secretly laugh at me for my performance

the fact that there are 3 other pianists means nothing to me

people will not judge me for my (lack of) facial expression or my movement as I perform

I will remember to bow and I will do it properly and I will not be judged for it

I do not actually care who comes or doesn't come to the recital

I am not allowed to be sad if no one comes because it is my own fault I did not tell them it existed

even if I told them it is still my fault for not explicitly asking them to come but rather repeating "what are you doing [time] [date]" like a broken record and not saying what the significance of this time is

I have played and can play this difficult piece

just because it is not going well now does not negate that it has been going well for weeks prior to this

continually practicing and noticing it is falling apart more is probably a sign to stop instead of forcing it further

it is ok to stop playing and come back to it the next day if nothing is going right

if it is late at night stopping practicing is a good idea
