Posted my fanfic Return to Sender yesterday and had a sketch in mind to go with it

Realized I don't know how to draw a floral pattern and im not familiar with old western woman's clothes, yet I didn't bother to look for a reference

Started the sketch after i saw the movie in March but kept putting off finishing it (i forgot how much I like gyutaro)

I wonder if the apples are going to be a silly little extra personality, or if they're going to play a role in the story somehow

Didn't have quite enough time to finish this yesterday, but I got there

Pretty sure I missed a spot

I have an idea for a sketch with them, so I did a lighter sketch first. They are the perfect colors for colored pencils(despite how my photography skills may make it seem)

Just a little sketch to try and stay in the habit of posting

Wasn't intending to give them short hair, but thought it looked nice. I think the angels wouldn't get along or their ideals wouldn't mesh

I want to make an abstract form for the angel

I'm going to miss this series

Was thinking about the angel having black eyes and white eyelashes

I imagine they are relatively calm and at peace most the time

I never mean for them to be this long, but I also want to get my idea out completely. A moment of the demon being talkative; I tried to illustrate him with an uncanny long, thin smile, but I think it just kind of comes across smug. I have a few more ideas I'd like to sketch, but this took longer to complete than expected, so I'll probably do some small things first

I imagine they would be found doing mundane tasks or assisting in other's work, but head always full of pity for the mortals and sees the tasks as the least they could do for them

Was thinking about what other angels in this world would be like and came up with them. They're supportive, but see life on Earth as suffering for the humans and does what they can to make it more bearable. Tries to find the little joys. Has no affiliated demon because they believe humans have been through enough

Wasn't going to do a sketch today but last minute inspiration struck. They're tracking down the angel(& demon) to get an explanation for everything, or for someone to take it all out on
