Dark nodded at her questions, returning her curious and excited smile when she leaned in, looking at him once again. The shade was just as curious as Aira was, and he burned to know what she was - but sadly she wouldn’t be able to answer him as she didn’t know herself. Yet, the young man was sure he would find out sooner or later.

She raised an eyebrow at his surprise. Was it that shocking for someone to like people who were different? After all, it made those who were also different feel less alone. At least, that's how she thought of it.

I think she was afraid to love sometimes. I think it scared her. She was the type to like things that are concrete, like the ocean. Something you could point to and know what it was… And I think that’s why she struggled with love. She couldn’t touch it. She couldn’t hold on to it & make sure it never changed.
