Page 1:

Dion woke up in the middle of the night; dude is groggy as hell. In his sleepy haze, he realizes he's not the only person awake right now. He sees Raz sitting alone, quietly manipulating the water from the stream nearby. That's not right though, Raz should still be in bed, he was unconscious for the past two days after helping Nona put Maligula back into the confines of her mind. He also hit the water pretty hard on the way down. After that was all said and done, he got injured and exhausted that it was a miracle he didn't pass out in the water. Frankly, when Gisu mentioned Raz was "Freakishly fast at learning Psychic powers" Dion had no idea what that meant until this moment. Yeah, they just found out how the curse operated, so it was kinda crazy to see, despite just waking up Raz could already just, mess with water even if all he did was make a hand and bubbles of water around him. Seeing the quiet, blank expression Raz had, though, Dion knew the kid was currently processing the past few days. Raz processing tended to be a solo thing the kid did, not wanting to bother anybody when he was in that mood. Now, Dion really didn't want to bother Raz, hell, he was pretty sure he was the last person Raz would want to see after waking up, since the last actual conversation they had, Dion in all his teenage moody brilliance and fury, told the kid the family would be better off without him in it. A statement that did shake the kid up and hard.

Page 2:

In Hindsight, that being the last conversation the two had bothered him, especially when that Girl claiming to be Raz's girlfriend was struggling to drag his barely conscious body back to where they set up camp. Their mom sure had a great time seeing one of her children look like death warmed over.

"Psychic Burnout" was how Lili??? Described Raz's zombie-like state to them. Kid was running about the past week, non-stop, handling situations that he shouldn't have had to handle in the first place, to the point he was running on fumes, bringing Nona back to her senses.

Did Dion want to be the one to talk to Raz? No, no, he did not, but was he going to wake up his parents or Frazie? Track Nona down with no luck? Also no! So, sucking it up he approached Raz.

"Want some company?" up close as his little brother turned to look at him, he saw the way Raz's eyes were like that stuff in Lava lamps, all wobbly and wavy, which was kinda wild to see so much closer in person. He sat down since Raz didn't give any sign that he was against Dion sitting nearby.

"So uh... You doing alright?" a normal question Dion felt weird asking.

"Oh... Yeah, I mean, I only wound up stopping one of the most notorious psychics of all time, while being a psychonaut, uh, intern at least. And it's kinda nice to now know water won't actually kill us, that's like breaking an illusion or knowing the logic of a magician's trick." well... He did answer the question...

Page 3:

"Dude, not what I meant... Are you like... You know, are you feeling alright?" he should have elaborated the first time around, that was on him, he knew how his family operated. The sound of various bubbles popping and water splashing to the ground surrounded the two as Raz gave him a slightly strained smile, straightening his back.

"Of course I am! Sure, my head hurts a bit, but I'm fine Big Brother." Oh, oh yeah no that was not the statement of an alright Raz.

His body went slack at the very sudden and intense way Dion turned and pulled him into a tight hug, his arms hanging to his sides. It took him by surprise that all he could do was stare blankly past Dion's shoulder.

"You don't ever call me that unless you're upset Raz" Oh...

Oh.

"You can feel bad about this, just don't act like none of what happened means nothing to you" The way his body and heart seemed to ache heavily, as though finally given permission to feel anything negative. Eyes burning from the sting of blurring tears, he buried himself into Dion's shoulder, letting the walls crumble inside of him.

I have Psychonauts OCs, Charlotte is by far my favorite of them/my most developed.

Basically, I have a HC that the Psychoanuts have a SWAT/Lethal Combat/Black Ops Department. Charlotte is in that department, formerly a vigilante who was going around mauling people who kidnapped psychic kids before she got picked up by said department. She uses umbrakinesis to shadow step or merge into shadows and travel through them. she's also someone they use to assess new interns to see how they handle combat required situations.

She's got quite the stare on her, too.

A redraw of an expression I greatly adore but drew Dion with and the Joke was "POV: U woke up to ur little brother and Ur Sister's mini horse missing and you have to hold back from screaming"

Dion picking up Raz so he can reach some ropes he's too short to get (An excuse to draw that pose, its really cute)

Raz without the gloves I usually draw on him (The scars because he's not good at Knife acts, practiced or not)

Relectant/mildly stressed Raz? I think the idea when I drew it was it was related to when His dad took the Pamphlet.

I was listening to rascal flatts last night and the idea Dion just starts crying at country music was making me laugh my ass off.
