Hey Pop,

It’s been quite some time and I’m sorry for that.

First off .. Happy belated birthday. Hope the ice cream cake was good (it’s heaven so I’m sure it was).

Today’s #MothersDay 2026 and just wanted to let you know mom will be having dinner here in NJ with us so she won’t be alone .. as she shouldn’t be. I do my best to bring her here on big days but can’t get them all. Counting the days till she retires then we won’t be apart as much.

Also wanted you to know we had a new addition to the family .. Meet Molly! She’s a sweetheart, extremely friendly. Wants attention from everyone (total opposite from my guy there lol ) Just let James know she’s not here to replace him, but to merely help keep me sane since I miss him sooooo damn much.

Losing you has shattered something deep inside me that I don’t know how to rebuild. You weren’t just my pet, you were my only companion in this world, the one soul who never judged me, never left me, and never made me feel alone.

Hey Pop,

Just wanted to wish you and Nanny a happy 74th wedding anniversary! Just knowing you guys are together now gives me ease since she missed you tremendously for those few years.

Everything’s going good. Thanksgiving is Thursday. Holidays aren’t the same anymore without you and nanny but we’re managing. I’m here in NJ for Thanksgiving. Minimal driving so I can watch football lol

My sweet #PrinceJames .. not a day goes by that I don’t miss you beyond words. Everyday is still a struggle but knowing you aren’t in anymore pain (and with Nanny + Poppy), it helps me bring me back to reality.
