Kim Kardashian watching âFamous For Being Famousâ on Snapchat in August 2016.
The clip compilation pulls interviews, performances and paparazzi footage spanning the entirety of Britney's career up until today.
Miss American Dream (2016) - is a clip compilation film about Britney Spears featuring interviews, performances, music videos and paparazzi footage. During her rise to stardom, Britney achieved more than most artists could in a lifetime by the age of 19. The landscape during that time was incredibly sexist, resulting in harsh criticism about her appearance and the effects it has on children. Along with the rise of the Internet and gossip age, the media became highly invasive, leading to dozens of photographers chasing Britney at every moment. She wasnât allowed to have a private life and was milked for every possible dollar with scandalous headlines. There was a time when the world was concerned that Britney wasnât going to survive and become another victim of the Hollywood machine. But despite everything, she has continued her legacy and is a relentless force in our culture. Britney Spears is a pop legend, icon and mother, but most importantly; sheâs human.
Hey guys! Kim watched my film Famous For Being Famous because her biggest fan wrote a blog about it!! https://myleezakardash.com/2016/08/11/started-from-the-bottom-now-we-here/

I'm really happy you're making a Britney doc, because I feel like the significance of her breakdown and what Britney means to modern culture is really under appreciated. Can't wait
I completely agree. The more clips Iâve gathered, the more Iâve become angry with the media for being so hungry to destroy her. They violated her innocence by asking her about her virginity, portraying her as a villain during her justin breakup, asking about her breast size/implants when she was a minor, accusing her of being a bad mother, I mean the list is just endless. Iâm so proud that she is doing so well know because the media beat her to the fucking ground.Â
Update - July 2016
Hey guys! Iâm working on a Britney Spears film, which will likely take the rest of the year to complete. Stay tuned xx
What's your next project?! Do you think you're going to make a film about Mischa Barton? Love your work!
Thank you âşď¸ I've mainly just been focusing on my Twitter account. www.twitter.com/partylikeits07 but no upcoming projects right now.
Over the last 15 years, we've seen a lot of female celebrities go through very public meltdowns. But who's to blame for this? Kristen Cochrane examines this Hollywood phenomenon, through the lens of Will Rebein's eerily poignant films. If you grew up watching Amanda Bynes on All Th

In the mid-2000s, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt gained widespread notoriety by playing the villains on 'The Hills.' After spending five months with the two, we quickly learned their love was never mere tabloid fodder.
The guy who interviewed me about my Speidi film had the opportunity to meet with them over the course of 5 months and just published this incredible profile article about Heidi and Spencer's life on The Hills and where they are now. It's amazing - everyone who watched The Hills needs to read it.
I've loved all of your work so far. Anything in the works for 2016? I'd love to see a LiLo documentary!
Thank you so much! In 2016 I hope to do one on Miley Cyrus, Kylie Jenner, and most importantly, Britney Spears. Not sure which one Iâll start first because I have the clips downloaded for all 3 of them!

Famous For Being Famous is a 150 minute found footage compilation film comprised of clips from the internet (archive interviews, paparazzi clips) showcasing Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian's meteoric rise to fame. In 2005, Paris Hilton was the most googled item in the world and defined what it means to be a celebrity in the new millennium. Today, Paris has launched her brand on an international level while Kim Kardashian has dominated US headlines and amassed 50 million Instagram followers. Our culture has always been fascinated with elite members of society, but with the power of social media and reality television, more people than ever can obtain fame. Why is our culture so obsessed with these figures? Are the Kardashians destined to fade into obscurity or will they be able to turn their 15 minutes of fame into 30?
