just saw Yves live in LA again and no one is doing it like herrrrrrr.

her artistry is unmatched. i absolutely love the sound and style shes going for. it's experimental, electronic, indie, and overall very campy. probably one of the most unique sounds in the "kpop" realm, although i wouldn't consider her kpop anymore....

she's such a great performer and i'm always enamored with every release she makes

i'm also thinking about the sound that LOONA had, while it def was unique in the kpop scene, it still was very much under the kpop formula. it was refined and not a lot of creative control or autonomy from the idols themselves.

it's really refreshing to see Yves develop her own style and sound as an individual. and also just something to ponder is how the kpop industry might be holding back on some of their own idols lol

#i am still a kpop enjoyer #but seeing what yves is releasing as an individual vs in LOONA is such a stark contrast #just makes u think about how much hidden talent and authenticity we might be missing
