He dials Stiles’ number with shaking hands. “You said you won’t model for them anymore,” he says, growling to camouflage the shakiness.

“I said I’ll think about it,” Stiles says. “But of course you heard what you wanted to hear.” There’s a rustle of fabric in the background that sounds like Stiles is sitting down on the bed. “I did, in fact, quit. I guess you just got the May issue? That’ll be the last one. Throw that away, and after that my visage shall hurt your eyes no more.”

Derek hangs up (he can almost hear Stiles huffing, “Rude,”), because his shaking hand is already creeping toward his fly.

He will throw this issue. He just wants a few minutes with it first, but then he will.

“If we both stick to the story, they can’t prove anything.” 

“Stiles…why did you write a list about things we didn’t do in Las Vegas?”

“So that my father won’t figure out, that we got married while we were there….and shoot you?”
