I was talkin with scammy bout Cain and ABel and got inspired, very fun convo! One of the few times Cain actually tries to talk about his feelings and it actually does not help deal with the emotional thermal it just makes him feel more bitter and angry.

ALSO note* Adam still is ⚰️ Charlie ofc during thjs excitement of meeting her newfound Sibling, doesn't think about how incredibly awful this situation is gonna be..! I'm hoping to make comics about sinner Cain or just Eden in general (more Cain and ABel bc ughh I love them sm))

Aahh ty I'm glad ppl like my Cain he means everythin to me—but completely going off the bible 🎯 Cain kills Abel out of jealousy, because his offer to the 'Big man' was rejected.. there's not a specific reason why Big G decided to deny Cain's offering BUT accepts Abel's.. so I thought it be interesting to go in depth as to why in my own way!

Cain's offering being crops he has grown himself was only denied bc (in Big G's logic) Cain didn't aim to grow crops with heart..he spent weeks trying to create the perfect corn on the cob, the perfect squash, etc that any imperfections he found on a fruit or vegetable were discarded/trashed. They weren't worthy to be presented in Cain's eyes.

WHILE ABel offered one of the first born of his herd, not because that one was some sort of prodigy out of every other sheep, but because it was a new life and that only is special enough..if that makes sense?

Cain didn't understand, he didn't even attempt to try to piece together why he was denied, he took it personally, another blow that he was always gonna be the second pick. He felt discarded.

He didn't think Abel deserved to keep coming on top.
