slowly working my way through the tags, sorry for the delay
When I started playing around with freecam, my goal was to try to eventually make pictures that inspire me, that rely on understanding depth of field and playing with bokeh, as well as include something dynamic – in my case, it's often spellcasting.

I didn't get Otis until September of last year, only after I completed all the achievements on both console and pc 😅 The only remaining one was Honor mode. Once I managed to conquer that at the end of December, I knew that I wanted to focus on learning how to actually make virtual photography that I might be proud of, and that's also when I went down the rabbit hole of mods, poses, lights, animations...
I remember being hyper excited that I could actually see this angle 🤦♀️😅
It's definitely a work in progress, and I still haven't figured out many things, but with the power of Lighty lights and bonezone, the possibilities are almost endless.
My main problem is that I despise asking for help and tend to approach everything through the most difficult way imaginable, so naturally, it took me a month to grit my teeth and ask for help with rendering that I simply couldn't figure out for the life of me. Now I've gotten over it, and I try to pass the advice to others every time I can.

While I take inspiration from other people in the fandom or simply from real-life photos, many situations in the game actually provided me with the perfect lighting and atmosphere, so I simply had to angle the camera and snap photos.

I always wanted to be able to take photos that wouldn't rely on existing conditions, but that would be entirely manipulated by me. I think now, several months later, I'm able to achieve that, so the following are a couple of pictures I am genuinely proud of and that I likely wouldn't have thought I would be able to achieve with the assets I had a year ago or so.
The Tara pic below is from a shoot I'm really happy with at this moment, because it utilizes props, scaling, positioning, several types of lights.. not to forget Tara with moving wings 😁
and finally, spellcasting that I think is genuinely good – I want to create more battle scenes similar to this one, plus hopefully I will also write a short story that inspired this particular set
