“Of course ours will be the cutest. We’ll have that right to think so, I just happen to know how competitive Cassie and Leia are.”

“They can try to compete but there’s no competition. Not when their mom is the most gorgeous person to exist. I love my sisters, but if our kids look anything like you everyone else is screwed.”

“You are, but you aren’t as bad as you think you are.”

“I don’t know I think grandma would beg to differ.”

“I know she’s not unbiased, but she doesn’t have to be. But Tasha’s been worried about what I think about her for a long time, for some reason. It’s weird.”

“Probably because if there’s one person besides Cassie that I’d listen to if they told me to break up with someone it’d be you. So having you like her is important.”

“We definitely shouldn’t let your sisters, or mine for that matter, hear that.” Tasha laughed. “Or even Bristol, because her sister’s kids are pretty cute.”

“I’m not saying they have ugly kids. Just that ours will be even more attractive,” he reminded her as he smiled brightly, “I get to be biased about them.”

“I’m a fantastic lay, thank you.” Brylan argued, rolling his eyes. “But I’m pretty sure she didn’t mean my dick. For some reason she cares what my opinion is of her.”

“Uh huh, so says Bristol who isn’t exactly unbiased about the manner. I mean it makes sense that she cares about what you think of her though.”

“That’s what my sister said when I talked to her about it, too. She wants me to be happy and I know that everyone else does too, but there are babies everywhere.” Tasha sighed, “it’s hard not to worry sometimes that not wanting that yet has me a step behind everyone else.”

“No it simply means you are on a different path. We’re going to be fine, and when we do have kids they’re going to be the most beautiful children in the world. Really we’re doing the other kids a favor letting everyone think they’re cute while they can.”

“It scares me too with Bristol. But I don’t think you have to worry about Tasha. Any time I’m around her, she gets all awkward because she thinks I could make you leave her, like I’d ever dream of it.”

“Dude as much as I love you there’s no dick magical enough to make me leave her. Especially when I have no idea if you’re a good enough lay to even be competition against her.”

“You’re not that bad, Park. But I’m glad that I don’t. I wouldn’t want to put anyone through that.”

“I’m pretty sure I am bad,” Parker reminded his sister as he rolled his eyes.

“I don’t mind taking the blame for it, I just don’t like the weird looks I get every time I mention it. My sister gets it, but it’s like everyone else expects us to settle down despite being really young.”

“If they want to come talk to me about it they can. I have no problem putting them in their place when it comes to when we’re ready to have children. We have time, just because everyone else is cool with settling down and having kids doesn’t mean we’re ready to.”

“I just…I like that we have our independence. That there’s a whole world out there we can go into whenever we want, and do anything, and not have to worry about if there are babies being taken care of at home. And I hate that I feel like I have to justify that to everyone right now.”

“If you need to justify it to them I’ll handle explaining them why we’re waiting. It’s okay to want our own time to enjoy each other before we start our family. You can always blame me if you’d like.”

“I don’t know why she’s still worried about that.” Brylan sighed, shaking his head. “I keep telling her it shouldn’t be.”

“Probably because she’s never loved anyone as much as you and it scares her. I know it terrifies me when I think about Natasha.”

“Park, if anyone understands that, it’s me. Being around all of them can be overwhelming sometimes. But if you ever need someone and the bothering them thing gets too much, call me. I’m the last person that it’ll bother, even if I am a dick half the time.”

“If anyone is a bigger dick than you though it’s me. But I do know that you never mind spending some time with me. You never let me feel like a burden.”

“Good, because you do. And I get that feeling. Sometimes it’s easier to fit into the chaos of Theo’s family over ours, just because there’s less pressure. I love ours, but it’s easy to get lost in the noise.”

“I love our parents and siblings, sometimes it’s just a lot. But I also feel guilty asking them for one on one times when I know others need it more.”

“It’s just hard not to think about it with everyone else seeming to be popping our babies every nine months, you know? I know there’s no rush, and I don’t feel ready to be responsible for an actual person yet, but with my sister and the twins it’s hard not to wonder.”

“I know, but it’s not right for us either. I mean if I thought you really wanted to settle down now we would. But I know you just feel like we should. We can always watch our nieces and nephews more often.”

“Does she really think I could hate her?” Brylan sighed heavily, running a hand over his face, “yeah, I’ll talk to her. I don’t want her to think that.”

“I think she’s just afraid of breaking your heart. It seems to be her worst nightmare.”

“We do have plenty to keep us busy. And I still want to wait until I’m at least in law school, but if it happens sooner we would be okay, right?” Tasha asked, shaking her head. “All the baby talk I’ve been around has it on my mind, is all.” 

“We would be alright, but I wouldn’t want for it to happen until you’re ready which I know that you want to be in law school first. I don’t want you to deal with that until we’re ready and we don’t have to be just because everyone around us is.”
