Finally decided to post about my fankid for Squirm here and the AU I made surrounding around her
🦷“Below the City’s surface”🦷
This AU was created as a story line for my fankid oc. The story is about a daughter of the God of Bliss named Gura and a Frowner named Nero, her name is Ellie. She is found to be abandoned and then adopted by a weather telling Stork named Mama Gleeful who also recently adopted another child whose name is Porter. An oc that belongs to my friend @/grubfarmer (insta) who’s the adopted brother of Ellie. Another 2 OC, Clara and Betty, that is in the lore belongs to my other friend @/grape-souffle on tumblr(here). Clara plays the role of aunt!
However, this story/AU is not gentle as it did get progressively darker and darker just like the tone of Gleamfolk City. Ellie has to go through her life dealing with identity issues and wondering where she came from, to find her origins. It does get darker and darker as it delves into serious mental issues like identity struggles and anxiety along with depression. Ellie meet an unfortunate turn as her body force her into an unstable transformation. Turning her into a dangerous monster who’s just very scared but lashing out as she doesn’t understand while being in immense pain.
There’s still a lot to this story but it’s a heavy wip and I have been very nervous to ramble more and more.
WHATEVER GO MY ELLIE/EYESTRAIN
-Being abandoned the moment she came to be, all she ever knew is that she was just a goat. Mama Gleeful, a stork that tell weather, only knew her as a goat. Ellie's brother, Porter, only knew her as goat.
They also knew her as a smiler so when she was a teen, seeing her suddenly so angsty came as a surprise. Fearing she was going to be a frowner. Ellie started developing more and more of an identity issue as she notice she was changing. Growing taller than normal, her tail become more worm-like, colorations she never seen before.
This was starting to scare her to the point she started to dress up fully covered as she grew scared of what she is becoming.
Ellie use to be known as "the giver of inspiration" as she helped give inspiration to smilers and she was also an artist. She'd paint people while she people watch and sometimes she gave them to people.
When Ellie became Eyestrain, a name she choose herself, she went into hiding. In pain and angry, full of rage of what she is and scared of what she became.
