“Relax! I can feel your paranoia through the phone!” she spoke quietly, teasing her brother as she rushed from her car to the door of the house. A smirk slowly formed on her lips, “How many times have we done this, Dipper?” was asked quietly before she walked into the house without warning – knowing full well it would scare him a bit more. “Here!” she grinned as she hung up the phone, “Let’s look around, huh?”
“Too many times-AHHH!!” he replied, then shrieked as she burst in. “Don’t do that!” he groaned, swatting at her and missing. How many times had she done the exact same thing, and still he wasn’t expecting it? “Um, sort of afraid of stepping off this weird altar, tbh,” he said, shining his phone flashlight around his feet, showing her the odd symbols and candles he’d accidentally walked into. “Who knows what sort of sacrificial-oof!” As he was talking, he’d spun around to emphasize the surroundings - and then fallen over, off of the dais. Nothing happened. “Oh. Well, then. Carry on investigating.”
