Blanky’s childishness and genuine kindness? Let’s do jack shit with him because we can’t write children that aren’t babies.

Lampy and Radio’s playful roughhousing in the beginning of the first movie and overall fun dynamic? All they do is stand next to each other now.

Kirby’s repressed care for the others? Let’s not look into why he’s like that and instead sideline him so bad you genuinely forget he’s there in some scenes.

Radio’s near constant referencing of politics at the time, his abnormal interest in Teddy Roosevelt and the contents of radio broadcasting in general? Let’s remove all of that and make him play music sometimes ‘cause that’s apparently his only character trait.

Lampy’s dramatic and sometimes rude demeanor at times? Fuck you he doesn’t have a personality anymore.

He’ll definitely have issues properly addressing the things he’s done in the past, and Sam’s there to support him even though he’s dealing with his own feelings on the matter
