“What is this!?”

A bright green shrub was potted in the corner of his scientist’s lab, rooted in the spot with small packages of colorful balls and other items.

Flug glanced at the eldritch demon with wide eyes, “W-Well, um...”

“Well?!”

“It’s a t-tree, s-sir...”

The demon glared at the plant and crossed his arms, “What is it for, Flug?”

The doctor bit his lip nervously behind his bag and shuffled closer to his desk, “Well... i-it’s tradition to decorate i-it, s-sir...”

The demon narrowed his eyes at Flug before sighing and glancing back over at it, “Decorate?”

The scientist gently stepped towards the plant and grabbed one of the packages, “W-Well, you just place an ornament on one of t-the branches, s-sir...”

“Shoe me this ‘tradition’.”

The doctor simply gulped and grabbed one of the ornaments, “Yes, s-sir”

He wrapped a gloved hand around one of the colored balls, there was an ornate pattern of glitter around it’s surface.

“What is that shining thing?”

There was a sense of disgust lacing his tone as he spoke.

“It’s glitter, s-sir”

The demon grabbed on of the ornament balls from the package and gently swirled it between his claws, “How does this ridiculous ball get on there?”

The scientist chuckled to himself and grabbed the small looped thread between the ornament’s lock, wrapping the thread around the branch and letting it hang.

“Like this.”

The eldritch grabbed the thread between his claws and slung it on a high branch, letting it fall lazily on the branch beneath it.

“This is a ridiculous tradition, Flug.”

The doctor shrugged, “It’s to celebrate Christmas, s-sir.”

The demon side glanced the doctor, “What is this thing known as ‘Christmas’ that you silly humans celebrate”

The doctor glanced to the demon and smiled softly, “S-sir, it’s a holiday. W-we celebrate the b-birth of god’s child.”

The demon stared at him oddly, “What god? I do not know any gods with children.”

Flug shook his head, “I-I don’t believe in it but it’s s-still a nice t-tradition.”

The demon was silent, watching the male place more ornaments of color and glitter on the branches of green spiky needles.

He mumbled gently as he placed a small snowflake ornament on a branch close to him, “What do you believe in, Doctor?”

The scientist glanced over at the demon, unsure if it was sincerity lacing his tone or curiosity.

He smiled gently, placing another ornament on the 6 foot tree.

“Well, s-sir, I’m a scientist. I believe i-in science. I b-believe that the galaxy was b-brought up by atoms and molecules, not some god I-I can’t s-see.”

The demon hummed, “I see.”

They silently placed the rest of the colorful ornaments on the tree.

“Well, Flug, how does this tradition end when you run out of things to put on?”

The doctor chuckled, “A tree topper, usually an angel, or Santa Claus, sometimes it’s a snowflake that lights up.”

“Do we have one of those ‘tree toppers’, Flug?”

The scientist nodded, “I-I have an old heirloom...”

“Heirloom?” The demon glanced over to Flug before smiling, “I have one of those.”

The scientist stared in shock at the eldritch, “Y-you have a family?”

The demon laughed, “Of course, I do, Flug.”

He brought out a clip the size of Flug’s bag, a sculptor of a dark beast wearing red and white with emerald eyes that glow.

The scientist smiled, his heirloom seemingly similar to the demon’s.

It was of a jolly man of pale snow wearing red and white with green eyes.

The two shared a gaze briefly before the demon grabbed his heirloom and placed it on top.

Flug smiled softly as he watched the pale snow jolly man stand on the peak of the branches.

The demon placed his on a branch lower than the tree topper, clipping it to the branches beneath it.

“I guess not all human creations are that bad.”

The doctor smiled broadly and nodded, placing comfort in their following silence.

I love writing, don’t get me wrong. I absolutely love writing fanfiction for characters that  I understand and can correctly create in fiction form.

I absolutely love the fandom still, but the only thing that’s holding me back is if it’s still relevant anymore.

I’m glad someone else is alive besides just me, haha!

And thank you so much, Ii didn’t know I was an inspiration to another fanfiction writer, that’s so cool! I like it. The only remaining interest I have in the fandom is the pure shit of PaperHat, it’s still a tiny spark inside me, ya know?

So, High School recently started for me and well, I lost all motivation for writing on most of my other fanfic blogs.

Well, I’m kind of losing the fandom of Villainous at this point. I was hyped and in it and like, boom, number one fanfucker, but now I’m just, in the back of the crowd and thinking bout some shit.

I’ve actually never watched The Beauty and The Beast before so I’ve got little to no idea what you’re talking about.

@freakingunderscore I’m sorry!! I’ve never had a childhood with disney movies! >~< I haven’t seen Cinderella or Snow White before! I know them though because of school time and art school.

And enjoys this adorable black fur shiba inu with a devilish grin and sharp teeth with a piercing stare. I think he’s fine though?

You’re going everywhere with this. I love it. Demon dancer teaching a Human scientist to f l o a t on the ground.

Tbh, just a funny story, but as a child, my grandma would teach me how to dance by literally telling me to stand on the tips of her ballet shoes and to just pretend I was dancing. :) I learned how to dance though because my eyes followed her feet and my legs were used to the movements after that. So I just call the tango and waltz: f l o a t i n g now.
