It was Saturday night, the day were the two friends would go to one of their houses and have a sleepover, tonight they were at Kiara’s house since JJ claimed the house to play video games with the rest of the pouges as their father was in prison again for theft.

So far the day was going great, the stars were twinkling in the sky as well as the moon shining bright into the open curtain window allowing the natural moon light seep into the dimly lit room.

The two girls were sat opposite of one another Kiara was sat the the end of the painting her best friend’s toenails a nice yellowish orange while Kiara ranted about the girl’s twin brother JJ Maybank (her boyfriend) while the girl sat at the headboard of the bed almost admiring the way her best friend (Crush) was so passionately rambling about how the girl’s twin brother was being an annoying asshole again,

The girl rolled her eyes when Kiara mentions that JJ had destroyed yet again another date by being a total idiot with the gun he found

“I don’t know why you are still with him honestly, he’s a total spas”The girl announced looking at her neatly painted finger nails

“It’s not as simple as that! He can be nice and is a good boyfriend sometimes not that you know what that’s like to have one”Kiara joked with a teasing tone and eyes fluttering she then laughed at her friend’s offend expression

“Low blow dude, okay I get it I’m single,Funny” The girl commented a sarcastic laugh leaving her lip but with a smirk she tried so hard to disguise leaning her head on the backboard of the double bed

“Oh come on, you know I didn’t mean it like that”Kiara said flashing the girl her smile making the girl’s (who looked back at Kiara) stomach flutter with affection and nervousness.

God she loved when she smiled at her,she almost…no she did make the room brighter when the girl she so desperately loved gave her a genuine smile oh how she wished she had picked her instead of her twin, before she could stop her mouth from running the girl spoke

“I think you might’ve chosen the wrong twin”The girl’s eyes widen at her comment and instantly regretted the words that came out her mouth, her cheeks turn red and she immediately looked anywhere then Kiara’s teasing hooded eyes

“Oh yeah?”Kiara replied putting the lid back on the nail polish and setting it aside, The girl gulped as the turtle loving girl began to crawl along the bed towards her, the girl’s brows raise in surprise as Kiara put her legs either side of the girl’s thighs settled herself on the girl’s lap giving the flabbergasted girl a sly teasing smirk

“I picked the wrong twin did I?”She whispered putting her hands under her jaw and on the side of her neck, The shocked girl couldn’t believe this was happening, the girl she loved is sitting on her lap! with a moment like this she’s happy and lucky she’s not a boy.

“Hm? Let’s find out”Kiara pulled the girl’s face bringing her lips to hers the two kissed deeply it wasn’t fast and hard but gentle, tender and full of love and lust, The girl brought her hands to kiara’s waist before slowly sliding her hands under a baggy t-shirt she gave her a couple weeks ago, kiara’s skin was soft and smooth but also warm

Kiara pulls away biting her bottom lip making the small line of saliva that connected to both their lips break, The girl’s eyes open even though she didn’t realised they had closed and she stared dazedly into kiara’s eyes who gave the dazed and shocked girl a small smile

“I definitely chose the wrong twin”Kiara sighed staring into the girls eyes with lust the girl had the same look with a droopy smile on her face she had nothing to say but wanted to say everything, She had wanted to have that kiss for years now but of course her brother had got her first…oh god JJ she had just kissed her brother’s girlfriend and her best friend!

while she was deep in her thoughts her smile faded into a small frown and her eyes had dropped to her lap making Kiara frown and turn her head to the side in questioning

“Hey, ‘…?’ ”Kiara whispered her hands now on the girl’s face stroking the soft plumped skin of the girl’s slightly red cheeks

“…?”she called once again gaining the girl’s attention, she looked back up to Kiara and sent her a small smile but the smile didn’t reach her eyes

“Hm?”She mumbled playing with the hem of Kiara’s (her) shirt Kiara sighed and took her hands away from the girl’s cheek

“It’s about JJ isn’t it?”Kiara asked dropping her hands to her lap

“Of course it’s about JJ! You’re his girlfriend and I’m just your best friend!”The girl exclaimed looking up into kiara’s brown eyes that stared right back at her with compassion

“A-and I just kissed you! Oh god if Jj finds out! He’ll kick my a-“the girl’s rambling stopped when Kiara pulled her into another kiss this one more urge and full of desire, As much as the Maybank would’ve loved to continue this it was wrong so hesitantly the girl pulled away and shook her head

“We can’t do this Kie, your my brother’s not mine”The girl whispered looking to her lap playing with the rings on her fingers, Kiara sighed and once again she took the girl’s cheeks in her hand making the Maybank glance into her brown orbs

“I-I’m not his…”Kiara mumbled making the girl frown in confusion

“What…what do you mean?”She asked bringing a hand up to Kiara gently pulled away her fingers from her cheeks and holding them in her slightly larger hand

“I broke it off this morning that’s why I came over and JJ didn’t want you in the house because I told him I wanted you”. Kiara explained the girl’s mouth fell open in surprise before she screwed her eyes shut

“What? You what? I..you…you want me?”the girl stuttered opening her eyes to stare at the girl who seemed to have a hesitant look Kiara nodded with a small frown on her face slight disappointment, the other girl’s mouth fell open slightly staring at the girl before she gulp making her throat bob up and down

“C-can I kiss you?” She asked giving Kiara an almost blank impression but on the inside it was like a volcano had erupted in her stomach while a boxer was beating the hell out of her heart, Kiara frowned her eyebrows before giggling at her lap after a second after seeing the girl’s face she stopped

“We just kissed five seconds ago ‘….’ ”Kiara told her tilting her head to the side

“I know but I wanted to ask you…as my girlfriend?”She suggested with a questionable look on her face Kiara grin nodding profusely, the girl smiled the widest she ever has and brings a hand up to kiara’s face and pulled her in crashing their lips together while her other hand made its way to kiara’s hips

after a moment of kissing the girl pulled away for a breath and looked as Kiara as if she had put all the stars in the sky but also with an unsure expression

“wait, are you sure you want me? You know I just want you to be su-“ the girl began but was interrupted

“yes I’m sure now shut up and kiss me loser”Kiara huffed with a laugh, the girl smiled giddily and pulled Kiara closer to the point where their lips were grazing each other

It was the beautiful sunny afternoon, the window’s were wide open letting in a gentle breeze to cool down the warm air of the home, The echo of the beach waves and the gentle rattle of trees and the sound of a Moana playing on the tv was being heard.

The 6 month pregnant woman laid on the couch with her hands playing with the ends of her 12 year old son’s light brown shaggy hair who was sleeping comfortably on her baby bump

The woman’s eyes were either watching her four year old daughter playing with her toys and or drawing on a piece of paper or the mother had her eyes closed resting like her son.

A small smile rests on the mother’s face watching the young blonde haired girl’s mouth gawk open as she gets engrossed in the movie Moana, a movie she has watched since she was a baby.

The woman glances at the clock on the wall, it was twenty minutes before Rafe would get back from work so with that she ran her hand on her son’s shoulder making him stir awake and look up to his mom with tired eyes.

“Sorry to wake you honey, but I need to get up”He yawned and dug his head further into her

“I can’t I’m comfortable”He muttered making the woman chuckle at the boy knowing that he has got it from his father who loves to use that as an excuse to not get up in the mornings

“You are just like your father”She commented as her son got off her and went to the other side of the couch before falling asleep again,

the woman sat up and pulled herself off the couch a hand cradling her stomach as she does so, her daughter turns her head at the sounds of her moving mother now forgotten about the movie playing

“Mommy where you go?”She asks innocently, the woman smiles and places a hand on her daughter’s blondish brown haired head

“I’m gonna make dinner, do you want to help?”The young girl eagerly nodded and abandoned the small Turtle toy her Aunt Kiara gave her and took her mom’s hand practically dragging the woman to the kitchen making her chuckle at her daughter’s excitement she had received from spending to much time with her uncle JJ.

“What we make mommy?”The infant asks rolling up the sleeves of her pretty red dress which was made by her aunt

“What would you want to have sweetheart?”She asked as she watched the infant drag over the small stepping stool she uses when she bakes with her mother

“Chicken daddy got!” She exclaimed as she made a drumming noise when she was tapping her hands on the counter the pregnant woman smiles and walked to the fridge , the younger girl cheered and clapped her hands as she watch her mom take out the chicken once the two gathered the ingredients they began to cook their meal for four well technically five

after a few minutes the eldest child couldn’t resist the callings of his little sister begging for him to join so groggily but with a smile to disguise his foul tired mood from his baby sister and began to help prepare the meal.

Rafe’s POV:

Once walking though the door of his families home, the smell of cooking chicken and home made potato wedges comes flooding into his nose, the man of the house licks his lips at the thought of the nicely prepared meal his wife of ten years had made, dumping his keys onto the shelf next to the front door and kicking his shoes off then shuffling to pull off his jacket

He makes his way through the rather big house for his liking but his father insisted that they should have a big home like Rafe did for the children to grow up in,

finally he catches the glimpse of his daughter running to the other side of the kitchen as her little feet patter along the hard wood floor he chuckled to himself as he followed the light chatter of his wife giving instructions to their son and small ‘be careful’s’ to their daughter who had practically leaped onto the small stepping stool from her previous hurried steps

finally making it to the kitchen the sight that is presented in front of him is his wife’s and son’s back to him and his daughter that’s was once on the stepping stool was now sitting comfortably on the counter

“what are you doing up there missy?”Rafe asked his daughter with a fake scolding tone the three of them turn and face him the youngest girl’s face lights up like a million fireflies at the sight of her father

“Daddy!”She exclaimed rushing to get off the counter which her older brother helps her to by lifting her up and down to the ground then back to stirring the peas and carrots in the pot onto of the hob

the young girl’s feet once again pattered along the floor and straight towards her daddy who had his arms wide open for her and bent down to her small and cute height the girl practically leaped into his arm almost knocking the wind out of his lungs

“oft! My favourite babygirl, oh you are so beautiful give daddy kisses”he exclaimed standing up while practically suffocating his daughter in little kisses which made his daughter giggle ecstatically trying to push his face away from hers

“daddy no more kisses!” She exclaimed happily trying to hide her face in the plam of her little hands

“oh but I missed you so so much baby girl”The man told his daughter beginning to make his way to the kitchen

“I missed you too daddy”the young girl mumbled and snuggled into the crook of his neck, He smiles and rest his head on hers as he walks into the kitchen and shuffles behind his son who was still stirring the pot of vegetables the father puts ruffling his hair as he passed him, his son turns his head to glance at his father and gives him a little smile

“Hi dad”He greeted before turning back to the cooking vegetables Rafe lent down and placed a kiss on his head

“Hey buddy”Rafe said and walked up his wife who’s back was facing him, he wrapped his free arm around her waist and rested his chin on her shoulder

“Hello my love”he whispered into her ear pressing a kiss on the side of her neck

“Hey handsome”His wife smiled giving him a love filled gaze and looked back to the gravy she was making

“how is my lovely family doing today?”He asked out loud for his family to hear

“good! We make chicken you got- oh me made you something daddy!”The young girl gasped and wriggled out her father’s grip running out the kitchen

“mama the vegetables are done”Their son said making the woman turn around to face him Rafe followed suit with his body still tightly pressed against hers both his arms now around her slowly growing waist

“oh thank you honey, you can go back to sleep for about ten minutes before dinner”Their son nodded putting down the wet wooden spoon and practically skipped to the living room to sleep on the couch making the woman laugh at her son and look in the pot making sure her son was correct about the cooking food which he was

“what are you laughing at?”Rafe asked his wife turning her body around to face him making her automatically put her arms around his neck pushing her body closer to his as much as should could with the baby bump

“Nothing Love”She smiled and leaned up to his face puckering her lips before pressing a kiss onto his lips

He sinks into the kiss bringing a hand from her waist to her cheek pulling her closer to deepen the kiss after a moment they both pull away smiling almost giddily at each other, Rafe runs his thumb along the side of her jaw taken in every detail on her face the beautiful face he has already memorised

“You are so perfectly beautiful”Rafe whispered running his thumb along her cheek the woman smiled shyly feeling her cheeks warm up making her feel embarrassed and push her face into his neck

“Stopppp!” She whined into his neck making Rafe laugh and bring the hand that was previously on her cheek on to the back of her head and play with the hair of her head

“Aw you’ve gone all shy?! You are beautiful and adorable what a win for me!” Rafe teased causing her groan and hit his chest keeping her face in the crook of his neck the makes Rafe laugh more and kiss the top of her head the sound of hurried and loud patter of steps echo through the house coming from the top off the stairs

“You’re a mean idiot”She mumbled into his ear and giving it a little bite making yelp slightly at the action she giggles and break apart from their intimate hug and face the direction of the little stomps coming down the stairs

“You—you little…you just bit me!”Rafe whispered shouted

“yep deal with it sucker”Rafe gasped and went to say something but their daughter footsteps had finished Descending from the stairs trampling towards the room Rafe’s hand rests itself onto her waist and gives it a small pinch making her squeal and glare at the side of Rafe’s head with a little smile on her face

“oh it’s on country club” she whispered and smiled to her self beginning to think of ways to kick his ass in this little game Rafe glanced at his wife lifting an eyebrow at her and a little smirk rest its self on his Lips

“don’t start something you can’t finish darling” he mumbled leaning down to her ear she side eyed him and smirked a new upcoming confidence runs through her body

“or maybe don’t continue something you don’t know how to stop, Darling”she commented now raising her eye brown in question, Rafe’s eyes slightly widen at his wife’s new dominate nature

“what has gotten into you? Not that I’m complaining because this is so sexy”He leaned his head down to her neck and pressed a hungry seductive kiss that might make a little mark on her neck

“I think dinner is not the only thing I’ll eat ton-“He went to continue to whisper in her ear but their daughter charges into the room with a piece of paper clutched in her hand making the man give her neck one last kiss and pull away from her smiling at his daughter

“LOOK! Daddy me made this for you!”the young girl exclaimed failing to recognise her parent’s recent not so child-friendly game the young girl shoved the white paper into his body and bent down with overwhelming excitement with a massive smile plastered on her face and her arms curled into her chest trying to suppress all her energy

Rafe crouches down to her height and tapped his leg telling her to sit on his lap which she did instantly and comfortably sat herself onto his large thigh

“what is this baby girl?”Rafe asked putting a hand on her back making sure she wouldn’t fall off his leg the girl instantly began to point to each person and explain who it was and how she drew them while Rafe listened to every word intensely His wife placed a hand on his head playing with the small hairs of his buzz cut style head watching the way the love of her life interacts with her beautiful child making her feel as though she is the luckiest woman alive,

however a competition has started, a competition that will last until someone surrenders, who will stop being stubborn and quit? we will have to find out…

“Let the games begin” she mumbled with a sly smile Rafe heard this making a smirk cross his face

It was 15:30 on a Monday, the first day of school after the summer break, it had been a chaotic and heartbreaking summer for the two girls,

the (used to be) man of their house had left them after cheating on the girl’s mother then filed out divorce papers the day after he told her he cheated,

he didn’t make the effort with his five year old daughter and no longer called or visited her so it was just the two girls on their own which the mother of the girl was more then happy to have it that way even though she missed and the old family dynamic they used to have but she loves her daughter more then anything and would do absolutely anything for her

Waiting outside the school’s red front doors the woman stood on her own unlike the other mums who were with their partners or with other parents speaking to them about their gossip and home life

she however didn’t care for the mums group chats and parent meet ups she was only interested in her daughter and if she had a friend who she would like to have a play date with then she would maybe consider having one of the parents as a friend

The bell rang indicating that the school day was over and a moment later children starts to flood out the doors with their bags barely hanging on their backs, papers of art work they did in their hands and massive smiles as they ran to their parents

She didn’t have to wait to long before her daughter came walking happily out with a boy the woman hadn’t seen before he must’ve been a new boy to the school

The small girl waved goodbye to her new friend he did the same before running in the other direction meaning he spotted his parent

Her daughter’s eyes light up when she spotted her mother, her little legs carried her rushing body and jumped right into the woman’s stomach making her mother giggle at her daughter and put a hand on the back of her head hugging her close

“Hey weirdo, did you have a good day?”the woman asked as the young girl pulled away and smiled happily at her mother

the two had fun calling each other weirdo it was like their thing it was an harmless insult and joke that the two of them loved

“Hi you massive weirdo! It wasn’t good it was amazing! There’s a new boy in my class and he just moved here last week with his daddy!, I asked if he wanted to be friends and he said yes!” She rambled with joy in her voice as the two made their way towards the car

“That’s great sweetheart, I’m glad your making friends.”She answered taking a hold of her daughter’s hand which was reaching out to her to take

once the two were about ten feet away from the car her daughter’s new friend came racing towards her with a massive grin on his face and a man walking behind him, a man the woman found very attractive and handsome

His hair was brown and buzzed, he had a smart suit on no doubt he just came from work, his lips held a small smile like smirk but what captured the woman was his ocean blue eyes that found her ones she would’ve gotten lost in them forever if it wasn’t for her daughter who probably saved her from a life time of embarrassment

"Oh hi again!” Her daughter said with a little giggled as the boy also let out one

"Hi! Look what my dad just gave me!"the little boy exclaimed holding up a new toy and her daughter and the boy started to talk to each other once again as the two parents stood next to one another

usually this would be an awkward occurrence for the woman but with this new handsome man next to her she didn’t feel any awkwardness but almost comfortable in his presence

Finally the woman grew the courage after having a debate with herself about initiating a conversation with the man and smiled Turing towards the man the same time he did

"Hi I'm-"The both began but stopped as the woman let out a laugh and the man let out a chuckle with a cheeky grin settling on his lips

“Sorry, you can go first”He said as the two calmed their laughter,

The woman smiled holding out her hand and the man took it giving it a little shake

His hands were softer than she expected and Much larger than her smaller ones that almost look like they disappeared in his grasp

"I'm ‘….’ , I heard that you just moved here”She stated feeling a tinge of sadness as the two separated hands

"Rafe Cameron"he told her slotting his hands onto his trouser pocket

He felt slightly embarrassed when he felt with his finger tips how sweaty his palms were after having physical contact with the most beautiful woman he had ever seen

“Uh yeah, yeah we just moved, it was easier to work back in my hometown” He answered staring into her eyes that held a look he couldn’t recognise but he loved it

“Hometown? Your from here?”She asked her eyebrows frowning he nodded with a smile as he looked at her cute expression

“Yeah, I grew up here, uh my dad use to own two businesses in the figure 8” Rafe explained watching as the woman was in grossed in what he was saying which almost shocked him because he had never really had someone so interested in what he was saying

After a moment her impression changed into a realisation one then she exclaimed

“Oh my gosh Cameron! Ward Cameron! your his son damn how did I not realise sooner”Rafe chuckled at her surprised face then nodded

“That’s right yeah, yeah I took over one of his business recently and now I’m back obviously”He said with a chuckle at the end of his sentence as she did the same

“That’s great! How are you feeling being-“She began but got interrupted by her daughter’s loud squeaky voice

“Mummy! Can he come for a play date today!”She exclaimed giving her mother the puppy eyes that would usually make her fold instantly but today however her mother had already planned to take her out later that day for girl time

“Sorry sweetheart, we are busy today but maybe this weekend if they aren’t doing anything” The mother suggested then trailing her eyes to Rafe making the two children stare at him with the same puppy eyes awaiting his answer

“Please dad! It’ll be so much fun and you adults Can talk about boring old stuff!”The man’s son exclaimed making the two adults laugh Rafe looked to the woman asking her silently to which the woman nodded

“That sounds like a good plan kiddo but I think we should let them go home now”Rafe said as the two squealed in excitement and hugging each other talking about all the fun things they can do

“Oh uh here my phone number just when they want another play date or if I want a date with you”Rafe commented holding out a business card with his work number and private number

“A-a date with me?”The woman asked shocked laced in her voice as she took the business card Rafe nodded feeling his neck heat up in embarrassment to which he lifted his hand rubbing his neck

“Yeah, I think your beautiful”Rafe answered giving the woman a smile making the woman let out a breathy laugh and look to the ground trying to hide her blushed cheeks

“Does Saturday sound good for the play date/Date?” She asked looking back up at him with a shy smile making him nod

“Sounds great”He answered giving her one last grin before turning to the child who were chatting away and putting a hand on his son’s head ruffling his brown hair

“alright kiddo let’s get going say goodbye to your friend”The young boy nodded and pulled the girl into one last hug

“See you on Friday Rafe”The woman said as her daughter took her hand

“Bye ‘….’ “The two smiled at one another then turned separated ways the young girl looked up at her mother once the two boys had had away

“You like him don’t you mummy?”She asked as the two reached the car the woman’s eyes widen slightly and glanced down at her daughter

“What do you mean sweetheart?” The woman questioned unlocking the car and the young girl stood by the open passenger door

“My friend’s daddy, you looked like a tomato mummy”The young girl exclaimed at her mother who stood in her open door leaning on her door handle

“No no, It’s just because it’s warm outside now get in the car weirdo”the mother said tapping her daughter’s back making the little girl gasp

“You do like him mummy!”She exclaimed looking back at her mother the woman shushed her going to cover her mouth and the two playfully fought

“Maybe I do but keep it down a little bit would ya weirdo”The woman whispered making the young girl cover her mouth stifling her giggles and nodded her head

“Yes! the plan worked!”The girl’s muffled voice mumbled after the woman shut her door and made her way to her side of the car

It was quite late at night, the stars were hiding behind the dusty grey clouds in the sky while the moon was also covered by the murky clouds.

The streets were empty apart from the few drunk stragglers leaving the party held at Rafe Cameron’s girlfriend’s house, the only sound heard in the street was the booming music.

The home practically shook with the thuds of jumping and dancing teens at the house party, Rafe’s girl proudly hosted as it was her best friend John-B’s birthday.

Currently everyone seemed to be having a great time well everyone apart from Rafe Cameron himself, his annoyed and angrier by the second attitude began when he caught his girlfriend dancing with JJ Maybank,his rival,but one of his girl’s best friends.

He didn’t have a problem with his girlfriend hanging out her friends in fact he liked how much she cared and loved her friends even if he didn’t particularly like them or enjoy their company but he was happy for her that she was so close to her friends however he hated the fact that not only had she not been at his side the whole party but was practically grinding against JJ.

He didn’t have a problem with her dancing with him but this was too much for his liking, he started to make his way to them to stop this from escalating to something that would never happen but with Rafe and his lack trust he has for the people he cares about and especially people in general , he could only think of the worst.

Pushing his way through the crowd from where he was in the corner of the room he barged past the drunk crowd that had gathered in the room to dance and toward his girlfriend who was now facing JJ with a bright smile on her face and drunken droopy eyes along with a nearly full bottle of beer in hand, JJ had a similar look on his face but instead of droopy eyes his gazed filled of admiration eyes only Rafe could have looking at his girlfriend.

Grabbing JJ’s shoulder he pushed the boy away and standing protectively in front of his girl.

“What the fuck Rafe?!”Jj exclaimed taking a step toward Rafe

“Back off and stay away from my girl, let’s go, now”Rafe commands turning to look at his girlfriend who had a sour look on her face she looked between the two and rolled her eyes at the two boys glare of at one another

“See you later JJ”She huffed pushing past Rafe and toward the crowd of people Rafe following close behind after sending one last glare to JJ

“What the fuck was that huh?”Rafe asked following behind the girl who was stumbling her way through the crowd and rolled her eyes at the boy

“What was what Rafey?- Sarah hi!”her once sour look converted into a happy one as she gasped smiling brightly at the girl who gave a smile back then turned to John-B next to her kissing his lips desperately

“The stunt you just pulled in the fucking kitchen that’s what!”Rafe exclaimed at the back of his girl’s head who made her way up the stairs

“it was just dancing baby okay? Jeez”She answered waving her bottle filled hand stepping up one stair at a time

“Just danc-just dancing?! You were practically grinding on that price of shit!” She groaned dramatically at him and took another swing of her bottle walking down the hallway passing people either passed out or making out.

“That’s what dancing is Rafey! It was just a bit of fun and please stop calling my friend names, you are being grumpy and quite frankly ruining the mood” she stated then walked into the bathroom whilst being followed in by Rafe who shut the door behind him

“A bit of fun?! Can you turn around and look at me?”Rafe asked getting angrier by the second while his hand push the hair away from his face

“So you can talk to me like your my father?, no thanks”She stated placing the half empty bottle on the counter and turned on the tap letting the cool water hit the basin

“Turn around now”Rafe commanded his fingers beginning to curl into the palm of his hands

“No Rafe, I’m not doing this again, not now, I’m tired”She huffed rubbing her now wet hands along her rosy cheeks letting the cold water trickle down her cheeks cooling the off

“I mean it! fucking look at me!”Rafe growled taking a step forward toward her barely standing still figure

“Just fuck off Rafe! I don’t want to deal with your bullish-“ she began then Rafe twisted her body around to face him by her shoulder and pushed her against the wall gripping his hand around her neck she gasped as pain shot up her back and shock took place in her dazed eyes staring at her boyfriend

“Tell me to fuck off again and I will make sure you regret it, do you understand?”She didn’t need to answer as her wide shocked eyes said all the words that needed to be said

“I said do you understand!?”the girl nodded rapidly blinking away the tears that began to well up in her eyes, Rafe’s once squinted eyes open wider as he nodded satisfied at her answer

“Good, now tell me why the fuck were you grinding on Maybank, hmm?”he asked running his thumb that was wrapped around her throat along the bottom of her jaw

“I don’t-i don’t know”the girl hesitantly answered looking anywhere but his eyes Rafe noticed this and pressed his hand harder against her neck making her let out a small squeak of pain and raise her head slightly

“No, don’t give me that bullshit, answer the damn question, why were you grinding on him? Fucking answer me!”he shouted using his other hand to slam her body against the wall earning another hiss of pain from her, the girls tears began to trickle down her cheeks and her heart began to beat inhumanly fast and her breathing was so quick you’d think she was running a marathon.

“I was dancing and I was drunk, I wasn’t thinking straight I swear! Please let go of me”She cries wrapping her hand around his wrist trying to tear his hand away but it was to no anvil.

“Not until you tell me you won’t go anywhere near that bastard again”the man his tightening his grip ever so slightly almost blocking her airway

“Rafe please-“she sobbed letting out a hiccup

“I’m warning you, I will fucking kill him, understand?, if I see you near that filthy pogue again I will kill him, you are mine and only mine” Rafe hissed leaning his face closer to her letting his breath tickle her cool cheeks

“I-I’m yours Rafey, I promise I wont go near him ever again” Rafe nodded satisfied with her answer and smiled releasing his grip from her throat then pulled her closer by her hips and hugging her body tightly against him, leaning his head on the top of hers that was pushed against his chest letting her hear the shockingly gentle beating of his heart

“Good, I’m just trying to protect you from people like him cause I love and care about you baby, you know that right?”The girl sniffled nodding her head

“I-I know, I love you too Rafe”She mumbled letting one final tears trickle down her cheek

It was late at night the house was eery quiet, quiet enough to hear a pin drop or hear the light clatter of the alone girl putting dishes away in the neatly organised cupboards,

the streets were empty with the only light providing the dark street was the dull streets lights that had not been replaced with new light bulbs as it didn’t provide much light than people would hope,

it was a normal night so far for the girl, chill in her bedroom watching horror movies until ten when it was quiet and her mother was in bed because of her job that started at the early hours of the days and her sibling would be either studying or sleeping so she would go downstairs to do the dishes with her headphones on blasting music or on a FaceTime call with her boyfriend JJ or one of her friends but however tonight was different

her mom was out for a business trip for a week and her sibling was at a new ‘friend’s’ house for the night and JJ was busy tonight and all her friends we’re doing their own thing so she was alone although she felt as though someone was watching her which there was and was looking over her shoulder every few minutes

she shook her head at the thought and mumbled to herself that she was being paranoid after watching a horror movie before hand

“Stop being a pussy and man up jeez”She whispered beginning to put the plates away into their designated cupboard

through her headphones she hears the house phone ring loudly making her let out a small yelp in surprise she puts the plate she hand in her hand into the cupboard before picking up the house phone looking at the number but it was one she didn’t know, she takes her headphones off and answers the phone

“Hello?”She asks placing her headphones onto the counter

“Hello is this sheriff Peterkin?”A voice spoke sounding quite raspy a bit creepy and honestly a little attractive

“A friend from your mom’s work, i wanted to speak to her, I’m new so I just wanted to ask her a question”He told her she scratched her head and pushes her hair out from her face

“she’s not here at the moment but I can take a message for you”She told them her voice cracking slightly shutting the left open cupboard door

“That’s alright, you sound uneasy, are you okay?”He asks with a tint of taunting to his voice that makes her swallow slightly

“I’m fine, I watched a scary movie so I think I’m just a bit shaken up about it I guess”She answered looking out into her dark backyard having the feeling to look for something or someone but she then shut the curtains

“Scary movie huh? What’s your favourite scary movie?”He asks his voice seeming a bit more teasing then before

“Um i like some of the classics like Friday the 13 and Halloween but my favourite has to be the conjuring-no wait Scream I like those movies”She answered with a small smile leaning on the counter next to the knives

“Hm I like you,the scream movies are my favourite too, you have great taste, beautiful”She lets out a small laugh while lifting up the knife slightly

“Well thank you, you barely know who I am, and you’re already flirting”She smiled looking at the knife

“Who says I don’t know everything about you? Like your boyfriend JJ” her eyes widen and fear crosses her face

“How do you know my boyfriend?”She asks letting out a shaky breath

“Your mom talked about you and him, silly”He answers making her sign in realisation and shake her head telling herself silently that she was an idiot that she forgot he wanted to talk to her mother in the first place

“Oh right sorry, I forgot you knew my mom like I said I’m a bit paranoid at the moment”She said beginning to walk around her kitchen

“That’s okay, your mother told me that you never get scared at horror movies”He told her as she opens the fridge door

“Oh did she now? What else does she say about me?”She asked placing the carton of apple juice onto the counter

“She said she likes when you talk to the tv as if the characters can hear you especially the dumb characters in horror movies”He answered making the girl laugh as she closes the fridge

“I suppose I do do that a lot but you can’t blame me for having better decisions and life savings choices then the characters do”She admitted honestly while taking a clean glass from a cupboard

“You think you can survive in a horror movie ‘….’ ?”He asks which makes a small shiver go down her spine

“I would like to think I could, I mean Sydney Prescott and Gale Weathers survived multiple times in the scream movies, I can be like her”She answered pouring the juice into the glass

“You think so huh? How about we test that and play a little game”He said making her stop in her tracks she frowned slightly before realising that he sounded awfully similar to Ghostface in her said favourite movies her eyes widened slightly

“What if I don’t want to play the game?”She asked moving towards the collection of knives she was at before in case her theory is right

“Then I will come out and gut you like a fish! ‘….’ !”He yelled causing her to flinch and grab the largest knife there and moved to pick up her phone putting the house phone between her shoulder and ear

“F-fine I will play your fucking game, whats the game?”She asked locking her doors from her phone

“Locking your doors isn’t going to help you ‘….’ I’m already in the house, now which leads to my game, it’s called where am I?”She quickly presses the unlock doors button and the emergency phone call button that goes straight to the police line that her mother once told her to use

she drops her phone to the floor and tightens her grip onto the knife and takes the house phone away from her shoulder and holding it to her ear instead

“Where are you mother fucker?! The police are on their way asshole!”She yelled staying put in the corner of the bunker next to the other knives looking at every inch of the kitchen the knife shaking slightly in her trembling hands the creepy voice let’s out a maniacal laugh

“Oh ‘….’ I guess that only leaves me some time to kill you!”He hung up the phone making the girl let out a shaky breath as she tried to stop the tears forming in her eyes, slowly pulling the phone away from her ear holding it tightly in her hand

suddenly ghostface comes running towards her from her left she lets out a frightened squeal and throws the phone at him hitting him in the head making him fall backwards to the ground holding his head giving her enough time to grab another but smaller knife shoving it into her pocket and running out the room still with larger knife in hand

She hears ghostface chasing after her through her house once she hears him get close she ducks down to the floor making him fly over her body

she lifts the knife up just as the robe wearing man flys over her and she manages to slice his arm but he also manages to slice her side, she lets out a cry of pain when he lands onto the ground she sees the knife that was previously in his hand on the floor a few feet away from him and rushes up kicking it away

she feels a hand grab her leg with a grip most likely to leave a bruise and she falls over once she lands onto the floor, she turns her body to the side using as much force as she can she kicks the man’s face then kicks his bleeding arm which was enough for him to lose his grip and move away from her

she takes this opportunity to get up holding her side and run up the stairs into her bedroom locking the door, the door bangs indicating he’s out there she lets out a cry of pain as she pushes the unit that was next to the door infornt of it whilst holding her bleeding side and rushes to her window placing a bloody hand to it looking out she catches sight of the blue and red lights of the police

“The police are here asshole! I survived! Go fuck yourself motherfucker!”She yelled looking at the door holding on for dear life

the masked man must’ve heard sirens and her yelling because the bangs stopped and rush steps fade away from the door she lets out a quiet sob and turns to the window she struggles but manages to get the window open just as the police over came into the driveway

“H-help! I think he’s still in the house!”She yelled making the police look up at her for a second before rushing into the house she looks back out to the driveway and sees the sheriff there stepping out her car

“Mom!”She exclaimed making her look up and look at her window worry written all over her face

“ honey, god…Are you-“she gets interrupted by the officer coming out shaking their heads at her

“We searched the house the intruder is gone, the back door’s window completely smashed they managed to escape before we got to them”The officer said to the Sheriff, she nodded and looked back up at the girl who was looking down at them with teary eyes

“ honey ,it’s okay your safe to come down now” the girl nodded and moved away from the window and pushed the desk from the door making enough room for her to get out by the time she moved the unit from the door with a pain fill cry Peterkin had already run into the house and up the stairs and was now at the door waiting for her once she got out The sheriff pulled her into her arms hugging her

“Ow ow my side”She whimpered pulling away from her Peterkin pulled away immediately and glanced at her side

“Let’s get you some help, okay?”she said she nodded and wrapped her arms around her mom’s neck as she gently picked her up bridal style since she saw her struggling to walk out the room

“Is your sibling still out?”she asked her walking through her house and down the stairs the girl nodded once again

“Okay, we’re staying as Shoupe’s tonight it’s not safe for you to be here alone”she added sitting her down on the drivers seat of her large car she opened her eyes leaning her head and the head rest looking up at her mom who gave her a sympathetic smile

“Right let’s get you patched up”she said and opened the glove compartment taking out the first aid kit and opened it taking out wipes and bandages the girl held her shirt up to reveal her sliced side she glanced down looking at her face searching for some kind of reaction

“How bad is it? Is it bad?”She asked her watching her gently wipe the semi dry blood from around the cut skin, from her mother’s lack of answers in the small amount of time she gave her she sighed

“Damn it is bad isn’t it?”She asked hissing when the wipe made contact with the sliced skin

“You’ll need stitches it’s not too bad which is good but it will leave a bit of a scar when it heals”she answered beginning to wipe the fresh blood from the wound making her yet again hiss in pain but she smiled slightly

“Sweet,a battle scar just like yours mom”She mentioned making him smile at her shaking his head and start to stitch up her side which made her wince a few time

“I just hope you don’t get anymore sweetheart, trust me it is not as sweet as you think”her mom told her a sad glint in her eyes as she finished the stitches and softly wrapped the bandage around her waist then took a step back leaning a hand on the car door

“Sorry i-i don’t know why I said that-I didn’t mean to make you upset mom”she muttered staring at the woman, the sheriff shook her head at her and gave her a smile placing a affectionate hand on her head

“It’s alright sweetheart, where-“she got interrupted by another police car siren making them both look up and see the Deputy and the girl’s boyfriend Peterkin went to speak with Shoupe as JJ approached his girl looking from her face to her blood stained t-shirt and back to her face again

“oh my god,are you okay baby?”JJ exclaimed as he wrapped his arms around her neck Hugging her close to his skinny body she wrapped the arm opposite from her sliced side and held her boyfriend close to her resting her head on his chest while he rested his on her head

“If you think being chased around my house by a dude with a knife and a ghostface costume is okay,then I’m absolutely amazing”She rambled sarcastically with a smile making JJ let out a chuckle and stare down at her while she looked up at him giving him a reassuring smile

“Yes I’m fine baby, his knife caught my side a bit but I managed to kick him a few times so I got a bit of pay back I guess”She explained not wanting to share more as much as she loved and trusted JJ with all her heart but there’s a new Ghostface so just in case the Scream movies are right about trusting the love interest she didn’t mention all the details, she goes to put a hand to his cheek but she stops herself starting to bring it down but JJ stops her placing her hand on his cheek making her cringe slightly at the sight of her blood on his cheek

“My hand is covered in blood-“She began but he interrupted squeezing her hand in his and shook his head

“I don’t care just hold me with you soft and bloody hand”He whispered making her smile at him and run her thumb along his cheek making the blood spread across his cheek

“Your such a weirdo”She laughed making him stare at her with a fake shocked expression he gasps pulling out from her hold staring at her making her laugh more

“How dare you,such an unnecessary insult and not the first one might I add”He commented picking up a clean wipe from beside her then took her bloody hand in his beginning to wipe it clean

“Yeah but you love it though”She answered staring at him with a smile in which he looks up from her now blood free hands and to her face

“That I do”he placed a kiss on her hand and chucked the wipe into the floor next to the other dirty wipes

“What we’re you doing with Shoupe?”the girl asked making JJ sigh

“My dad got in trouble again and he wanted to ask me questions about it so when I heard it was about you I made him take me with him”JJ answered making the girl smile sadly at him

“Did your dad…you know do anything to you-“Jj shook his head before she could finish

“No…it’s fine, I’m fine I’m just worried about you”he said giving her a reassuring smile making hers from less sad to a slightly happier one she nodded at his answer and stared into his eyes

“Do you want to stay at my place tonight?”He asks holding her hand she smiles and shakes her head using her other hand that wasn’t hold his hand to grab another wipe holding to his face

“sorry I can’t mom already to me we were staying with Shoupe tonight but thanks for offering”She told him wiping of the bloody hand print from his face whilst he played with her fingers

“That’s okay, hey do you want me to get some clean clothes for you and get a overnight bag?”He asked just as her mother and Shoupe started to walk towards them she pulled the wipe away looking at his now clean face

“That would be amazing,thanks baby”She smiled leaning up pouting her lips he got the silent message and leaned down giving her lips a small kiss once they pulled away the two adults were stood next to them making the two look at them

“I need to get a statement from you honey”her mom said giving the girl a small yet comforting smile the girl nodded and looked to her boyfriend

“I’m just going to get her a change of clothes and a bag”JJ said taking a step away from the car Peterkin nodded making JJ give ‘….’ a smile turning away and walk towards the house

“JJ! Take an officer with you”Her mom exclaimed to him he put his thumb up and walked into the house with one of the officers from earlier the girl then turned back to the two adults who were giving her a look she couldn’t recognise

“What?”She asked looking at them they shook their heads and her mom started to ask her what happened

It was late at night about 11:00pm, she had just finished her shift at the restaurant she has work in for 3 years now, usually she would be tired and wanted to go straight to bed however tonight she felt a bit more awake and bouncier today then usual, so when she stepped into her apartment and locked the door she practically skipped towards hers and her boyfriend’s room.

they have only been together a year and a half and decided 5 months ago they should move in together, they were so in love a type of love you would see in Disney movies but when she is with Rafe he was the perfect man for her, he was her Prince, she thought of him as the most loving,caring and innocent man you would ever meet, but what she didn’t know,

he was far from it.

She goes up to the door and opens it wider revealing Rafe In a long black robe with his mask in his veiny hands, she stops in her tracks as he mouth hangs open in shock her eyes unmoving from him,

a gasp coming from her lips also stops Rafe from what he was doing and turns his head quickly in her direction a look of surprise and guiltiness shines in his wide ocean blue eyes

“Rafe you still there?”A voice from his phone asked but her mind was elsewhere to hear who was on the phone

The feeling of betrayal runs thick through her body and she does what her gut tells her, she turns and runs back out the bedroom.

On her way out she swings the bedroom door shut behind her and races to the front door but Rafe was quicker and manages to grab her waist pulling her harshly into his arms then started to forcefully drag her into their bedroom

“let go! Get off me!”The girl yelled kicking her legs and thrashing around in his arms when her gripped on her body harder she let out a scream, Rafe covers her mouth muffling her scream and he pins her to the wall covering her mouth with his glove covered hand and holding her to the wall the best he can with her wriggling body

“Be quiet!”He hissed pushing his hand harder into her mouth she lifts her knee up and uses as much force as she can right into his stomach and bites down onto his finger hard enough for him to let her go

“Ow Fuck! ‘….’!”he exclaimed holding his finger and stomach she takes this chance and starts to run out the bedroom door she doesn’t get lucky and get tackled to the floor

“No! No!”She exclaimed as she tried to army crawl away from Rafe but he pulls her leg’s towards him

“Baby just trust me”He whispered to her once he managed to pull her into him successfully, he gets up before dragging her back towards the bedroom once again, not believing a word from her boyfriend she tries to crawl away from him

he shuts the door with his foot then crouches next to her pathetic attempt of escaping and flips her onto her back before straddling her waist and rests his legs on her arms enough for her to be trapped but not hard enough to hurt he grips his hand on her jaw preventing her from speaking

“Sh sh sh baby no screaming now”He hushed staring into her panicking wandering eyes which land on the knives on the bed which causes her to panic more and let our a muffled sob

“Calm down!”He growled pushing her further onto the floor as he tries to keep her still but she doesn’t stop moving and tears of pain and feeling betrayed are flowing down her cheeks

“Let me go…Please-Rafe let me go”She cried and sobbed as the tear trickled down her cheeks

“ ‘….’ stop! Stop! just-stop moving your going to make it worse for yourself!”He reached to the side and grabbed one of the knifes and held it up to her cheek making her stop instantly while another choked sob escapes her lips

“Are you going to listen now? Because if you don’t I will cut you!”he tries to gives her a gulity look showing her sympathy which she knows he’s not very good at showing his emotions however she did notice this detail

he takes his hand away from her jaw and very gently puts the knife to the ground beside her head as if he didn’t what the unknown person on the phone to know he was faking this whole act, he leans down to her ear gave it a little kiss then whispered

“Just go with this okay? I wont and never will hurt you, I promise, trust me baby”He whispered and gave her cheek a small peck before leaning up straight and looking at her with pleading eyes

she sees in his eyes that he doesn’t want to do this and who ever was on the phone he didn’t want to disappoint them and possibly cause them to kill Rafe she nods telling him silently that she will play along

“Okay! Okay please don’t hurt me!”She cried making Rafe give her a grateful smile

“Good, you are not going to tell anybody what you saw and if I find out you did, oh baby then you can say bye bye to your friends”He spoke loud enough for the person on the phone to hear

“No-“She fake sobbed shaking her head

“Yes! Yes ‘….’ ! everyone you love well apart from me of course I will kill them if you tell anyone! All you have to do it keep that pretty mouth shut”He said cupping her cheek with his hands instead of hatred and disgust like his words his eyes held such a different feelings such as guilt,love and sympathy.

“Fuck you”She gritted through her teeth tears glistening in her eyes as she still felt the pit in her heart of being betrayed in the first place and a stray tear goes down her cheek

“God,You sweet dumb thing, I’ll let that slide for now since this is a new fun game but if you do that again you and your friends won’t be so lucky, okay baby?”Rafe spoke using his thumb to wipe away the tear

“Okay Rafe”She choked out a sob

“Good girl, now let’s go and finish making a plan to kill our-well mainly your friends, your gonna help or you know what will happen”Rafe leans over to the bed and grabs his phone before pressing the speaker button

“Rafe? Did she agree?, is she in?”The voice of Ward Cameron asked a voice that should no longer be heard as he was annoyed dead a month ago, she eyes widen at the voice and she stared into his eyes while he stared in her

“Yes she did Dad, and I will go over the plan with her”Rafe answered staring at her trying to not tear up at her confused and betrayed look on her face

“Okay son if she doesn’t follow suit, kill her we don’t need a pathetic and useless bitch on the team”Ward Cameron growled making Rafe clench his jaw at the insult his father said about the girl and look at his girlfriend who stared at him waiting for his answer

“Alright dad, bye”He said before hanging up and throwing the phone onto the bed he looked at his girl then stood up holding his hand out waiting for her to take she lifted hers and took it Rafe helped her up and held her cheek wiping the tear away

“Baby I’m so so sorry, I was going to tell you but I couldn’t he would’ve killed you if I told I-“He began to ramble but got interrupted when she pushed his chest making him stumble away from her with teary eyes

“Why would you do this? I- I trusted you and you fucked me over! How could you you fucking asshole!”She exclaimed hitting his chest which Rafe let her do looking into her tear filled eyes with so much guilt and pain

“I didn’t- I don’t want to do this baby! He’s making me! If I didn’t agree to do this he would’ve killed you and maybe even killed me too”He admitted after She stopped hitting him and was now just staring at Rafe while he spoke

“I get if you want to break up with me and never want to see me again or tell everyone that my family and I are the killers but I haven’t killed anyone that was all Rose and my dad I promise you and I want you to know that I love you so so much and I would never ever hurt you”Rafe gave her a small glance up from the ground he was staring at previously she let out a sigh and took a step closer to him

“What-why are you laughing?”he asked with a eyebrow raised “You are just adorable even though your family are killers”She explained he let out a short lighthearted scoff and shook his head

“So are we okay?”he asked looking at her with hopeful eyes

“Yes doofus that’s what I’m saying”she exclaimed with an eye roll he let out a small ‘oh’ then softly pulled her into a hug

It was around 9:45 at night, the stars were shining in the sky twinkling down onto the OBX while the sun was already set making the sky hues of navy blues and dark purples whilst the suns edges peaked slightly over the waves of the gently splashing water of the marsh,

The couple laid in the king sized bed in the Cameron’s mansion, it was the first time in a week or so that the couple finally had time together since Rafe had been helping his father with the family business and the girl had been working alongside her best friend Kiara in their restaurant Kiara inherited from her father.

a couple minutes later

It was quite late at night around 9pm, the sun had already set and the stars were shining in the clear sky,

it would be a perfect night to star gaze which the couple would do when it was this type of beautiful night however the girl was very tired from her busy day at work so when she got back from her shift she gave JJ a peck on the lips when she passed him in the corridor when he was heading back to his gaming room with a cold beer and she headed to their shared bedroom for an early nights rest.

Tiredly getting out off bed she began to make her way stumbling sleepily to JJ’s gaming room and knocked on the door she leaned against the doorframe waiting for an answer finally after a moment she got one and went into the room

“Hey baby”she whispered to him as she stumbled towards him he looked up from his computer and to his girlfriend

“Hey,you alright?”he asked and the nodded in response

He wore his baggy pj bottoms and was now bare chest since he tossed the shirt he was wearing to record was not a mess in the floor and a pair of headphones on his fluffy blond haired head

“Are you still playing with the boys”she asked putting a hand on his shoulder and rubbing it gently

“Yeah,is that okay? ”He answered

“Of course”she replied simply and held out her arms like she would when she wanted cuddles the boy smiled at her then moved his headphones wire from his lap and held out his arms to her she got the message and sit on his lap

“Hi”she mumbled however the boys didn’t hear her

“She said hi”JJ told them rubbing a hand up and down her back as he waited for their next match to start once it loaded He pick up his controller and continued to his game while he spoke to his friends softly

after a while the girl grew felt herself fall in and out of sleep in the embrace of her boyfriend, she snuggled further into him her breasts pressed up against his chest as their hips grazed off each other just as his match finishes

“Right I think I’m gonna go”JJ commented placing down his controller on the desk

He then walked up to their shared bedroom and laid her on the bed He then turned off the light and climbed onto his side of the bed and got under the covers

“Goodnight baby”he whispered and pulled the girl into his side

The sun was going down making the sky shine with different shades of orange getting darker as the sun goes further down the stars started to become clearer in the beautiful sunset, the calm waves splash against the golden grains of the beach while seagull’s give the silent air a melody as they caw in the late evenings sky.

On the gentle swaying hammock she was practically lying on her boyfriend then the cotton made material.

“Oh is it now?, I can help with that”JJ whispered making a shiver go down her neck and red blush dust onto her cheeks to which she tries to hide by pushing her face into her chest however JJ had already seen it and he let out a little laugh just as they got to the door of their little home

She reached over and opened the door JJ stepped inside and closed the door with his foot then headed towards the bedroom once they reached the small bedroom JJ gently sits her on the cold bed and puts her arms in her shirt and unclips her bra before slipping it off her and onto the floor

The girl sighs in relief as the once tight sensation is now gone, JJ puts her arms through her shirt again.

“Lie down baby”He whispers lying a hand on her back gently helping her lie down as he watches her eyes close out of tiredness

Once she is lying down she turns to her side facing away from him and snuggles into the cool pillow, JJ takes his denim shorts off leaving him just in his boxers and climbs onto the bed next to his almost asleep girlfriend,

the girl felt his presence and shuffled to him instantly wrapping her arm around his neck and the other on his waist she intertwined her legs with his warmer ones making him get goosebumps at the cold sensation but doesn’t care

He wraps his arms around her waist pulling her closer and puts his face into her neck sighing happily as she plays tiredly plays with his hair

“Goodnight Jj, I love you”she mumbled giving his bare chest a kiss, JJ smiles and kisses her neck

“Goodnight baby,I love you too baby” with that the two fell asleep in each others arms

It’s early, the sun’s glowing glares seep through the long flower designed curtains, the birds sing songs only they can understand, the light breeze of the wind gently flows up and through the cracked open window.

I slowly follow him through the forest I’m not sure why I was especially when I had no idea who this was but my heart told me to follow so I did

The laughing like sounds of viperwolves filled the air of the orange lit forest

The boy turns in his spot holding the fire towards the viperwolves who were surrounding him

“Come on then!”He growled poking the fire towards the taunting animals one jumps out to him and he whacks it with the flaming stick another one jumps out at him from the branches above him and he stabs the stick into it as he tries to pull the stick out it’s flesh another jumps out at him

he narrowly dodges it and swings his knife at it slicing it stomach two more pounce at him knocking him to the ground

i jump out from the bushes and fire the already set arrow into the viper wolf that was on top of him’s stomach and run towards him then whacked at the two that were tucking at his feet one jumps on my chest pushing me backwards i mange to keep my balance and pull my knife from my Hip stabbing it

i take down the next couple that try to jump at me finally i swing my bow at the final couple i hiss at them watching them scruffy off into the forest i turn my attention to the fire stick that was still lit and pick it up

“Hey wait don’t!-damn bro“I ignore him launching the stick into the water blocking out the boys complaints

(Trying to burn the forest down,idiot) I mumble to myself and I go towards the dying viper wolf i crouch down to it and stab it into the heart

I walk through the forest now trying to leave the boy I knew I shouldn’t have helped him now he’s gonna want my help

“Hey wait up-where are you going? I just wanted to say thanks for killing those things-“I growl under my breath and turn around whacking him in the face with my bow sending him to the ground

“Ow! bro!”he complained holding his cheek

“Don’t thank! You don’t thank skxawng”I sigh taking another step forward towards him

“This sad-very sad only”I told him he holds up his hand blocking my bow from him

“Okay i I’m sorry- for whatever I did I’m sorry”he told me I take a step back

“This your fault they did not need to die”I say struggling with my English

“My fault they attacked me how-“He began but I interrupted him pushing my bow into his chest sending his once sitting position back to lying onto the ground

“Your fault! Your fault! You’re like baby, making noise, don’t know what to do”I growled he nodded and slowly stood back up

“If it was my fault why did you not let them kill me? What’s the thinking?”he asked holding his hands up in surrender i cock my head to the side in slight confusion

“Why save?”He nodded and put his hands down

“Yeah why save me?”I sigh

“You have strong heart,no fear”I take a step closer to him and poke his head back slightly

“But stupid, ignorant like child”I turn around and walk away from him I could hear him chuckle and start to follow me again

“Look can we uh can we talk? You know where are you from?”He asked copying my tracks along the high branches

“Or how you know some English? Cause your not from m- wow”He says and began to fall backwards but I catch him holding him up right

I told him before looking up at the sky noticing seed of the sacred tree floating down towards us i gasp slightly and lift my hand towards them one slowly falls into my hand

I smile at it and glance at the boy who hand some of the pure spirits on his shoulders and arms he looks at me and smiles slightly

i smile back and stare into his yellow eyes which I have noticed are quite beautiful i clear my throat and look towards the spirit that was now following the rest that were leaving the boys side

“Come, I get you home”I say then started to walk into the direction of his home in the mountains how I knew this is because I saw Navi on Ikran’s go there

“Me Y/n”I tell him glancing at him he smiles a bit confused and does a small awkward wave

“I’m Lo’ak, Lo'ak te Suli Tsyeyk'itan-but uh you can call me Lo’ak cause…that’s…my…name, Just Lo’ak is fine”he ranted then awkwardly rubbed his hand behind his neck

“Nice meet you just Lo’ak”I tease he laughs and follows me as I lead him home
